It's on Hartz Avenue in Danville, they block off the entire street. Im guessing last year it went from about 11-5:30 once all the cars had left...almost a year ago though so Im not sure. Great show though, I'll be there for sure :)

In light of the horrible reviews of the concorso which when it left the Quail location has never been up to snuff, the Danville show is a breath of fresh air.You have all the same cars and people without the drive or cost, plus services such as restuarants etc... right there on location with the usually great indian summer weather in October not to hot. The show gets bigger every year with a great mix of cars on display, only draw back family's with small kids not supervised around the cars with strollers and the clueless parents on when they see thier kids touching the cars saying nothing or teaching them to respect other people's stuff.

I was fortunate enough to meet him at the '07 charity dinner last year, what an awesome man. Sad to hear about the recent news.

    Nice photo, Brian!
I have a few of him from the show. I seem to remember he was wearing a pair of Piloti driving shoes!
    See you there?

I was at $---bolic and another San Diego shop for a short stint...
I realized the only way Ferrari owners were going to get the level of service they deserve and should demand, was for me to go out on my own again! I've got a small shop in North County San Diego. I'm keeping it small, I'm hands on with every project and clients deal directly with me.

Glad to see your still out there making dream cars look better than they do in dreams!

Drop me an e-mail next time your down ([email protected])

    Mike,

I'm in Oceanside. There's plenty of work down here.

People in So-Cal, don't tend to take care of their Ferrari's as well as people up north do, so the work flow is weaker than Nor-Cal.
It's my observation that lack of Ferrari knowlege and credentials in the majority of the shops down here are the reason for the difference.

The problem I find, is a shortage of qualified Ferrari shops and techs. to educate owners and work on their cars properly.

Uneducated Ferrari shops and techs = uneducated and unhappy Ferrari owners.
