Thats cool. Tom is a friend of mine (I assume you mean the same Tom that owns Autosport Designs in Long Island?)
Yes. I spoke with Tom. He is a really great guy. He gave me some history on the car. He said if I wanted to know what the back of the car looked like that season then I needed to speak with Steve Earls. (I believe Rob Lay has Steve's old car). It was originally white with a blue stripe. This was the 95 and 96 car. If you look close you can see the white interior.
Wow, Darth and everyone else. I am touched people still remember me. I log in from time to time but it's every once in a while to see how people are doing. Yes, the 355 C was sold back in early 2004 and I stopped doing track days and focused on racing. I've won two titles in NASA and two in SCCA and some endurance titles as well but greatly miss the old Ferrari crowd both here online and in person. I still miss my Challenge car greatly. Since I sold it I've driven all manner of race cars from GT3 Cup cars to lesser Grand Am cars but nothing brings a smile to my face the way the 355 C did. If some of you are interested in my SCCA racing you can read about it here: www.flatoutracing.net As some of you know, after 9/11 my finance company went through a rough period and I eventually sold it and retired for a year and half to spend time with my kids. early 2005 I invested in a friends small business and helped run the business and expand it with great success but eventually I missed the corporate world. I just recently took a job with a global aviation company based out of Burbank Ca. in their sales and acquisition department and work in the DC office at Dulles Airport. We are mainly involved with large cabin aircraft and own a fleet of Gulfstreams and BBJ's (Boeing Business Jets). Financially I am getting back up on my feet where I was five or six years ago and hope that in a few years time I'll be a Ferrari owner again. You can bet it won't be street legal and it will be red and yellow. Would love to hear from all the old F'cer's. Please feel free to email me at jkofod (AT) conloncapital.com. Happy Holidays Everyone ! Jon ex #23 95 F355 C (Barchetta red with yellow stripes)
Good to see you're up and at'em. When you get to HQ's look me up. There's a drink waiting for you for sure!
Jon, WOW, you are right next to FOW! It would be great to meet you and I encourage you to attend any of the local FCA gatherings. Great bunch of guys, no hang ups! Anyway, where are you racing?? Summit, VIR or Jersey?? Robert

Interesting look isn't it? The car came to me as such and I have not yet seen another grill like it. Something to do with aerodynamics I'm sure. snicker.
Same to you Peter. I drove at VIR for the 13 Hour back in November. Plan to be out for the SCCA May regional double (MARRS/SAARC) event. May actually dip into GA Cup next season for a race or two. Robert: I was a long time customer of FOW and am friends with many of the staff there such as Ralph C. and some of the others. Although I am no longer an FCA member I still see many of them at the track at SCCA events and keep in touch locally. Some of my favorite events were the FCA/FOW track days when we used to get 8-10 Challenge cars out in red group. Those were some good times. I remember Benny Caiola in his F40 GTE/LM going toe to toe with Arnott's Momo 333SP. If you look at my profile you'll see me at FOW's shop crouching right beside the 333SP. Literally a half hour later it was loaded onto a trasnport truck to be sent to another collector who bought it. Kind Regards, Jon
Very cool Jon!!!!!!! The 512BB was up at Summit running around back in October, very cool car! Hope to see you around, be safe! Robert
