Sorry I dont want to post the link, but item number: 130287090204 on ebay looks "too good to be true". Even bought at todays money, thats a really, really soft buy. Does anyone have any history of this car? I am tempted to drive down and look at it, even for a resale opportunity. Any of the SoFlo guys know this car?

Seems like something isn't adding up. I may be wrong but it seems that if the reserve is that low on a spider with only 5K miles on it then there must be more to the story.
The same car bid to just under 136K in it's auction ending the 9th. A red spider, same year, similar miles with options supposedly just sold for 160K. Considering the blue on blue the reserve is realistic. It's a new world gentlemen, and given this weeks economic news even a "no stories" car of this color/mileage/year may find the $143K reserve too high. This may be a $130K car by summer.
I bought blue and got what I thought was great deal in December on my 2007. I bought at a price that I couldn't find a 2005 model for. There are many highline dealers that are upside down in the inventory they own and can't buy more. This may be a real car at todays level. When you have to sell its usually the worst time.
Blue looks sweet. I have had more silver cars than I can shake a stick at, but had to do the 430 in red. I don't care for the way silver looks on the F430. The blue is very unique. Just wanted to comment on the avatar.
Good price but it is funny that there are no interior pictures showing and it is a manual-stick shift.
I spoke to the seller, he will only accept a wire and not really open to other payment options, the car is kept in a garage, but the transaction will only be done at his office localtion. He claims to be the second owner and has a FL title in hand. From experience dealing with dealers and private individuals in south FL i recommend being cautious. Not saying anything against this car or individual, just be careful when dealing in SO FL.
What's the deal with not posting the link...? Anyway, this car was for sale on eBay back in late January, 5,850 miles, $195,000. Then again on February 2nd, 5,350 miles. Both times advertised with two owners, both times advertised as being delivered new to Ferrari of New England, both times advertised as being located in Miami. Pending a positive PPI, I'd say it's a fire sale. But as has been said, buyer beware. It could also be a scam. Call the seller, have him send you a picture of something specific.
I personally know the buyer of the ebay 05 F1 red/tan F430 spider that sold for $160K - it was a great deal on a clean car (he had it PPI'ed). I'm selling my 03 360 spider and looking for a yellow 430 spider if anyone knows of a great deal like this PM me.
well you can buy an 05 red tan F1 with similar mileage car from an authorized dealer for $180K and we are talking about an authorized dealer and the best color combo. the color combo on this car is a horror and it is certainly reflected in the price of the car.
Seems like a great deal to me. Color's fine all though it is a tougher sell. This guy would go $139K without too much pushing. Check it our personally, make sure the interior isn't too thrashed and I think it'd be a hell of a car.
