1989 328GTS No Rivets

I am in the process of replacing the carpet and apholstrey in my 328. I read alot of wonderfuld threads on the process before starting the project. Each thread I read said you had to drill out the rivets behind the side glass to remove the rear shelf & top piece. It must be another 89 thing but my car as you can see from the photos does not have rivets behind the side glass. I assume the only rivet that needs to be drilled out is the one in the pic. Anyone else had experiance with this? I have removed everying except the piece on the roof. The vin on my car is 81851.
