There seem to be quite a few gun owners here, so:

I am thinking about going shooting tonight, probably about 8:30.

The range I normally go to is Insight in Artesia (off of the 91).

    $15 for a lane.

I like them because they also allow shotguns.

Let me know if you are interested.

    Don't know.

Here's a list of their ammo prices (box of 50):

    22 LR $3.00
    22 Mag. $11.99
    25 Auto $14.99
    32 Auto $15.95
    9mm $12.00
    10mm $29.99
    38 spl. $13.00
    38 super $24.99
    380 acp. $15.99
    357 mag $14.00
    40 s&w $13.00
    45 acp. $14.00
    45 lc $18.00
    44 mag $25.00
    12 Ga 10/$5

You don't have to use their ammo, except if you use a shotgun. I may bring my shotgun tonight, if I do, will buy 20-30 shells from them. I have plenty of my own 9mm ammo.

I am always up for some skeet shooting if anyone is up to it, there is a range here in Chino hills call Prado olympic park. I can loan you a shot gun if you dont have one. I have 2 x 2 gauge, and 2 x 20 gauge.

JJAY911 and I went last night, had a great time. Shot my XD9, my 12ga and his .22.

Afterwards, we went out on a quest for 9mm ammo at Walmart, with no luck. Shelves were bare, and there were tons of other guys going through the pallets to try to get whatever ammo they could find. We were able to get one box of 30-30 for JJay911, so all was not lost.

We'll definately have to do this again sometime.

Mrpcar: I'd love a chance to do skeet again. I've done it once before back in January at Rahaaje's, and before that it was when I was a boyscout, over 20 years ago. It's not easy, but it's a lot of fun.

Frips_girl: There's a few ranges in OC. Here is a link that lists them.

    http://www.kuci.uci.edu/~dany/firearms/ocshooting.html

One note: Most of them will not rent to you unless you are there with someone. My understanding of this is they just don't want someone coming off the street to rent a gun, then use it to suicide. You are welcome to come with us next time we go.

Thanks for the link and yes, I totally understand the liability issues.

I'm in SoCal for another month and then I'm back to Canada for a few months. If you guys go again in that time, I hope to be there!

I have been there a few times, close to my house.

Nice place and nice people running it.

I am up any time but we usually do more rifle and pistol rather than skeet, but the skeet setup there is awesome.
