In my experience excess garage space disappears quickly.
Collections are like a gas, they expand to fill the available space.

Actually, there was no sarcasm there at all; as I understand, Sal is quite the mechanic so I didn't know if there would be any catering to exotics and collectables of friends or not.

Good to hear Jim, indeed! You have a fine nook picked out for yourself and it gives you a little more elbow room from the old place eh' ? :)

Hope you enjoy and keep us posted... Not to mention the ultimate garage pic when all the ladies are parked ....

hmm... those 2 blue scafolds up against the wall don't seem too meet safety protocol!!

What are all those plastic pipes that lead into the floor? Water trap primers for drains? ... i don't see drains... i'm confused.

Love this garage. Very clean, very elegant. Great job!!! The cars look like works of art in your garage.

Good eye MannyGMT2. I noticed that as well. The plastic is referred to in the trade as PEX (cross-linked polyethylene) tubing and is used for radiant in-floor heating. Jim's mechanics are going to love him for that. As will the ponies.

It's really very helpfull to the cars to maintain heat and humity at good levels. We've found that radiant heating is also very energy efficient. We spray foamed insulated the entire building and that made a huge difference as well.
