    Hey guys,



    It's getting to be that time of the year again. Last year, we decided to have our first event in April, and hopefully the weather will cooperate with us to do it again this year.
    Our last event in October of last year brought out over 250 cars plus hundreds of other spectator cars.

    As those of you have attended know, this event brings out the best and most rare cars in MN and WI.




    Location:
    The location is the Minneapolis AutoMotorplex located at:
    1740 Motorplex Ct. Chanhassen MN (About 10 minutes away from the old location)
    Please check out the Motorplex’s website for map and other details: http://www.automotorplex.com/
    For people traveling east of 494 we would encourage you to take the Crosstown (62) extension (HWY 5) the where it becomes 212, exit on Powers Blvd (Which is 1 exit past 101) go right, drive approx 500 ft and turn left on Lyman (at the light) travel approximately 1 mile, turn right on Audubon and we will be 1.1 mile on the left.

    Im not really doing a drive after this one. South Central Imports is having a swap meet (I planned on going there after) and there is a dyno day at DB Performance that some of the guys will be going to as well.
    In May, there will be an open house at Imola Motorsports in Golden Valley and I will plan a drive to go there afterwards. We'll do a drive to Stillwater in June and I'm sure there will be good stuff going on after the July, August, Sept and Oct events.

    How often do you hold these gatherings?

    I am from Bemidji and won't be able to attend the April event. I have a Modena and a GT-5 Pantera. It would be fun to attend an event. I have a brother living in the Rochester area with a 99 Viper who may attend as well, but we would coordinate so we both attend the same gathering.

    Its done once a month come on down usually the first sat of the month
    You have one of my dream cars with the GT-5 (what color?)

    Im gonna try and grab a plane and fly down for some of the shows this summer so keep me posted on big events like the drives etc etc.
    O and yet again I would like to say Thanks to Louis because i still hear people saying how great it is that us gear heads now have a place to get together.

    So i think i can speak for just about everyone here when i say THANKS!!!!!

    Shoot, most of these won't work. :(

    First week of May I'm on the way to Pasadena to bring home the 360.
    June 6th I'm in Madison Wisconsin for the beginning of the Hot Rod Power Tour.
    July 4th.....family reunion.

    August 1st will be my first chance, damn.

    So this thread is kind of dead, is there still an expected 250+ cars coming? Even though it's also suppose to be a little cold still?

    We are still a go. I am not sure how many cars to expect. Last April it was still kind of cold and we still had a lot of cars out.

    sweet, im gonna come to the one this weekend, bringing a couple friends, first time coming. hope its good! is there a website anywhere with any general info i can send to them? or just the stuff posted here?

    What a great turnout. We had at least 200 cars there despite the fact that it was 35 degrees when we got started in the morning. Lots of new cars & faces. The open house at Orr Autosport and the swap meet at SCI were both great events afterwards as well. Thanks to all of you that made it out and I am really looking forward to May when we will have some great weather and a cool "after party" at Imola Motorsports.

    I took my son and 360 to the event yesterday............Incredible turnout. Luis and his father do a great job of organizing this event. Car numbers have really grown.

    You have created a monster!! 200 cars there with many more still not out of the garage yet. It looks like there was 4 360's (1 red and 3 grey/silver) this time.
