DM 18, you might have owned my late father's M'stang if you bought it used. Convertible in red, 289V8 with twin exhausts and twin sport lites in the grill. He bought it new and sold it off later in early 70's. The car survived and used in a TV commerical with N. Tse. On sale at one time at Car City in Happy Valley in the ealry 90's for over $ 350K. If that's your car, what a small world indeed!!!

Nice spot on the Novitec 430. Carpro's car I assume?

Saw this bibilical VT parked up on Lockhart Rd last night. I have never been a huge fan of the Diablo, but when I see them in the metal I wonder why. They just have so much presence. Wonderful! (Apparantly I'm not the only one impressed by it's looks!)

I am not a huge fan either but I did follow a black Diablo Roadster near the Wanchai Cargo Handling Basin a few nights ago and the VERY wide and low back to it was quite awsome. Dont suppose you caught a snap of that one?

I saw that Diablo lastnight too, what a sight! Always been a fan of diablos.

Too bad about that pillock messing about around the car, I hope he didn't do anything damaging to it!!

Ha ha! The photos may suggest otherwise, but believe me he's a lovely chap. Damage it? He would never dream of such a thing, just admiring it in a rather flamboyant manner! In fact have you ever seen a needlessly vandalised vehicle in Hong Kong? Wonderful to live in such a vandalism free city.

I take my word back then! Cause he looks like a simple drunken pillock from the pics - but I am glad I am wrong :)

What a small world! I think I saw him going out around 8'ish while I was on my way home that evening. He lives right down the street from me... You must be really quick w/ your phone camera...

Indeed a beast as I contemplated an all black one a while back, even got a license plate lined up. Didn't pull it in the end as it's just too wide for my car park... One day...

Funnily enough I jumped out of a taxi, camera in hand, and told the driver to give me 30 seconds to take the photos. Now that's an example of the effect that car can have on you!

Black on black Diablo would have looked the business. What license plate were you going for if you don't mind telling...? Too narrow parking space is no excuse not to get one though. That's what the scissor doors are there for, surely you can climb over the roof! ;)

I went to Automall in Wanchai this evening. Ridiculous selection of cars for sale compared to what I've seen down there before. A couple of nice 355's, countless 360's and 430's, 997 GT2, a fantastic LHD red E30 M3 (I waaaant!), SLK63 Black Series, 430 Scud, loads of Murcie's, little Fiat 500 Abarth and bunch of other stuff. Also got some pics in fading light otuside, will post pics later.

Great pics btw Bubba! Awesome to see all generations of the TR together in one place.

Some spots from yesterday. Best spot was a black Ultima GTR (anyone from the forum?) right at the now infamous Metropark hotel, but I couldn't get a photo (got a good one of the police presence though). Would have looked surreal with all the hazmat kitted out clean up crew and throngs of police, ambulances and flashing lights in the background!

Was the Exige at the Peninsula and are Bentley Continentals common in HK?

No, not the Peninsula. All Bentleys and Rolls' are popular in Hong Kong, behind the Conti you can see a long wheelbase Phantom and a Silver Seraph. There were another six or seven Bentleys in the spaces nearby. I think Contis are outnumbered by the Turbo R and Flying Spur though (especially the latter), there are simply loads of them around.

I stayed at Healthy Village in North Point. On that trip I only remember seeing a black Flying Spur on King's Road in Quarry Bay. I've also seen other exotics like:

Aston Martin DB9 - North Point
Aston Martin V12 Vanquish - North Point
Aston Martin DB7 Volante - North Point
Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 - Sha Tin rec center
Nissan Skyline R34 sedan - King's Rd in North Point
    4-5 Ferrari 360 Modena - North Point
Ferrari 348ts - Gloucester Rd near Lambo HK
    BMW M5 E60 - North Point
Lotus Elise S2 - North Point
Porsche 993 Carrera - North Point
Mercedes S55 AMG - Causeway Bay

What are the good exotic spotting places in HK?

Queens Road Central in front of the Mandarin Landmark, just stand there for a while and you will see lots of nice cars. Sometimes even parked at the hotel.
