+1 on the Veyron color. I've seen that California twice now and its actually a LWB. 1 of 50 - http://www.flickr.com/photos/damianmorysfotos/3453829413/sizes/l/in/set-72157617099954169/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/damianmorysfotos/3456813930/sizes/l/in/set-72157617099954169/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/damianmorysfotos/3557768489/sizes/l/in/set-72157618729786492/
Whats the deal with the lack of U.S. plates? Is the car not registered here? On the way back to school after Thanksgiving break this past year I saw a green Chevrolet Tahoe with custom rims and a yellow, square foreign plate (U.K.?) and I wondered if it was legal for the man to be driving that car in the states. I mean, people in Europe drive their cars between countries without a problem and I've seen plenty of Canadian plates here but I think it makes little sense for someone to ship a car as common as a Chevrolet Tahoe across the ocean. An original Ferrari California is another story, but because the car has been spotted a few times I assume the guy lives around here.
Good call, LWB indeed, I spotted the car again on Greenwich Ave just a few minutes ago and looked It has CT plates on the back, but the vintage one on the front. Cops don't mess with cars like that in Greenwich.... I will certainly miss that when I leave Tuesday for California.... And the Veyron was Black w/ Silver Scallops. Never seen it before, and NOT Miller's Black/Red demo car. NY Tags...
Today: Last gen Mercedes-Benz CLK 55 AMG convertible in Mt. Kisco Red Ferrari F40!!! New York plates right near Exit 2 off I-95. Very happy looking guy driving it. A black Porsche (Turbo?) was following it Gray Nissan GTR in the preowned parking lot of Infiniti of Greenwich parked next to a new M3 and some sort of custom Mustang. First time seeing one (GTR), I thought I'd be more impressed Bentley Mulsanne S and BMW M roaster on greenwich ave Tuesday: Maserati Quattroporte with handicap parking pass leaving the parking garage of White Plains hospital around 11:00. Driven by an older guy, at least in his 70s Bentley C Flying Spur parked at the patient drop off/pickup area a few hours later at White Plains Hospital Rover SD1- gold with Vermont plates heading southbound on I-87
That California sure does get around. I've seen it twice, you've seen it twice, and one of my friends spotted it a few weeks ago. That is very true about the cops. If you look at the first picture I posted he was parked in a no parking zone. Well, as I was taking photos a cop happened to drive by and all he did was look at the car and shake his head. Same thing happened this past Saturday when I saw Carlo's Carrera GT parked in front of Richards on the Ave. Wow, first time I'm hearing about this Veyron. NY tags too... Thanks again for all the info Carbon. Awesome spot! BTW, here are my spots from Greenwich this past Saturday (5/23) - http://www.flickr.com/photos/damianmorysfotos/sets/72157618729786492/
