    Hi any one have an idea for gearbox/diff oil to help with baulky 2nd syncro , castrol SAF-XJ 75w-140, in the box at the moment, seems worse than what ever was in it before.

    change up ok, change down a problem.

    Lots of guys use Redline NS and it does allow better sycro engagements but I have found it to be not so superior for wear, instead I use Neo 75W90 RHD probably the best around and take it easy when shifting.

    The old iron Porsche style syncros really don't like posi additive. Whatever you use try getting it with out it.

    Come over to the Dino section and see that many of us like Swepco 201 or Redline 75-90W NS

    Hi Clark,

    John Corbani had a similar problem and the solution was in the gate not the fluid.

    thanks all, have fitted redline oil, finishing service in the morning, will let you know the out come this week, gate seems fine joe.
