Mine does, and I'm not sure it's supposed to? Other GT4s I've seen have a more level front bumper. Mine seems to angle downwards slightly? Can you please show pics of your front end...thanks. Image Unavailable, Please Login
No picture to hand, but... I have a series 2 car (1979) which had the section prone of the light pods replaced in 1989 as prt of a rust removal exercise. It was replaced with a series 1 nose section, i.e. Dino Badge arrangement (only thing available at the time) To me the series 1 nose section has a much bigger "frown" angle than the series 2 cars. So my car now has a frown gap between the series 2 front bumper and the series 1 front nose section........ I will rectify this when I eventually go for a respray.
Remember, camera settings (close-focus, wide-angle) and general camera angle by itself can exsinuate some aspects, making them (much) more pronounced. I like "The Growl" description better than "The frown." P.S. Blue. Beautiful Color on the GT4
Mine is mrecurial and rather enigmatic with its facial expressions - it has a whimsical and nostalgic smile from some angles and perhaps a nonchalant yet knowing smirk from other angles! Frowning isn't really in its repertoire!
I think it's just an enigmatic expression Dan! Here's my new front end (lightweight ally bumper with cooling holes) showing a 328GTB the way round Paddock at the Brands round of the Ferrari Formula Classic series last weekend. Most fun I've had recently with or without my clothes... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Mine's not really frowning, but it's got those doofy teeth (The fans) Image Unavailable, Please Login
There definately does seem to be a bit of variation in those shots. I'm sure mine is slightly more downward turning than other GT4s I've parked alongside. It seems to be mostly down to the bumper rather than the grille.
