While riding in the alps last week on a sportbike, this thing appeared in my mirrors. I was a bit surprised to see a car behind me, as any decent rider can easily pass even the quickest of cars in the alps, because right after a hairpin turn the power to weight ratio is in your favor and its very easy to pass even a turbo porsche. but not this one -- I let it pass because I wanted to see what the hell it was, and then I had a difficult time keeping up with it (I was riding 2 up). I want one ;)

I prefer the ariel atom myself. Cheaper than the xbox, quicker too (thats what one wants from these cars no?)! Also you can get the option for a windscreen these days:)

How the heck were you taking pictures while you were riding the bike?

Anyways, those are extremely impressive pictures of a very rare car! I'm glad to see them riding out on the street, especially through the Alps...I can only imagine how fantastic those roads are...the North Georgia mountains are a real treat as well! If you ever get a chance to spend time on the East Coast you should bring the bike.

Go for a Lotus 2-Eleven instead. Better looking, quicker and more involving. Every track test has 2-Eleven as best trackcar ever made! I have driven all of these and 2-Eleven is truly special.

IDK what that is, but it looks 1000x cooler than the Ariel Atom.

Yeah MM, me too. I don't think it is feeling more secure and safe than the Atom, I think for me it feels more complete, and to see it rip around when you are riding on a bike, that must have been a great sight!

There is a nice little site with lots of info on the various cars (KTM X-bow, Ariel Atom, RCR SL-R, Sonic7) run by a guy from Idaho named Karlo www.exocars.net .
Check it out, some interesting stuff is becoming available stateside for relatively low dollars.
