will do my best. by the way, have you heard about the formula one exhibit at te papa? there's some pretty interesting stuff there. we were there on opening night - speakers included chris amon, bruce mclaren's sister and denny hulme's widow ( or was that bruce mclaren's widow and denny hulme's sister? need to pay more attention ... ) c Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have heard about it and I was supposed to be joining the group going this weekend (after destroying JP on the karts) but a calendar clash (the cook had organised "other" things for this weekend) means I am no longer able to be there. I will be making the trek down the following weekend so will aim to get to Te papa to check out the exhibit. Thanks for the photo's.
Does anyone know about the Cali launch in NZ? I read in the Aussie papers that it was supposed to be this week.
Don't know about the launch here but whilst in Perth last week the Aussie one got done for 231 kph and car impounded!!! Great pics at Te Papa, hope to get there soon.
Drove passed the Westin the other night and there were red scud, 430 sp,430 cp and 599 parked out front, so maybe it was then?
Just picked car up from a service and only been back in the country 5 min, literally went from airport to ccs, lucky me Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice car!!! Cool Photo too, I have one similar You didn't get far....Andrew Sims in the background....Hope the fine was not too harsh...
Thanks James, I know you have a fantastic looking yellow 1. No I did'nt get far and he would'nt let me off, I was'nt even speeding, just made a wrong turn, I was fairly annoyed with the whole situation as you can imagine. Took the photo on my phone, the car looks black but its actually dark blue.
me too!!! it was a sunday morning, dead quiet. passers by appeared really happy to see a ferrari pulled over by a cop, people were honking horns and yelling out stuff....weird!!
The cost of the car is misleading as stated. When it was imported from Singapore in 2007 the 'Asking price' was $190K.
Hi Andrew, do you know anything about the history of this car? It currently has black seats and blue door cards and lower dash? I am sure you know who the current owner and his history with a certain F355 so one could guess he is not concerned with the history but the seat thing had me puzzled when it came to auction at Turners....
James, not much. UK Spec car sold new in Singapore, VIN ZFFYR51C000117637, Engine # 55990, Blu Scuro interior and came here in 2007 and offered at Archibalds for $189K. 3 owners who I will not mention and has been on plates DNH235, IRAMII, ERW108 and H0T4U.
Quite a few cars around Palmy last night and toady. Last night: - Black DB7 V12 Vantage (Reg - V12 VTG) outside the venue of my school ball - At least 8 Rollers of all eras in the car park of my school ball - Ferrari 355, didn't catch the reg Today - Black DB9 and red Ferrari F430 travelling together (I assume) - Black Bentley Conti GT Speed - Lightning blue Lotus Elise
Spotted a 275 heading south on the motorway on Saturday afternoon. Looked FANTASTIC!! Also a blue 360 spider and a red 430 spider both on Sat arvo. Yesterday was the Ferrari club run (photo's to come ) CCS also put on a bit of a do for the California, THANKS CONTI"S!! Good turn out for the run and lunch with around 35 of us for lunch and a great range of cars. I followed my old 355 back to Auckland (driven by the parts manager at CCS) all in all a good day. Photo's/write up later....
look forward to the pics, clashed with a clay shoot outing (shot 41/60 so not unhappy) especially in a force 9! Followed by mates BBQ and too many Becs followed by a kip booked on to the Coromadel Run 19 Sept, should be good fun, just got to repair the oil leak left over from Pukekohe and the exhaust blow from backing into a retaining wall!
Anyone know about this 550 in the US? http://www.car-parazzi.com/display/index.cfm?display=ItemDetail&media_id=49844
