I was at Algar a few days ago and noticed something odd (at least to my eye). All modern Fcars had the brake bleeders pointing up, and not down as I am used to seeing it on, well, almost every other car. How do they bleed the brakes? Do you use a special tool or something, or just let it bubble out?
It wouldn't make sense to have one pointing down since the whole point is getting air out. Since air is lighter, have any bleeding system pointing down would only drain fluid (or heavy debris) but not air. Ace
Many Ferrari clutch bleeders point down and that is why they can be so hard to bleed. Brake bleeders point up or sideways.
I really hope your joking...... brake bleeders are always above the input line and pointing "up". please show me any other car with bleeders pointing down...I am curious where you saw this.
LoL this is the kind of post you make when your up all night after an equally long day. Sorry guys, I was thinking backwards (or I should say upside down) from looking at Porsche conversions (was bored one night) before they swap the bleeder and bridge. If you ever seen one you will know what I mean: http://www.goingsuperfast.com/images/930_big_brake_kit_with_Cayenne_caliper-1.JPG
Just think of the quandry Enzo must be in. His horsey tat is either backwards or upside down depending on how he views it.
