Anyone know of any options for installing XM radio in a 2008 911 Turbo cab? I understand the 09s have the factory option, but wondering what 3rd party options exist for the 08. Would be ideal if it integrated into the factory head unit.

very cool; do you have the ipod connector? if so, do you ever have problems with the nav-tv seeing the ipod when the ipod is already connected before you start the car?

Didn't bother with it since it plays mp3's and I can jam hundreds of songs on a disk. Plus, having sat makes the ipod somewhat obsolete.

There is a kit suncoast porsche has it on their website, but to intergrate it with the head unit, it is a pain. It takes hours of labor.

That is what I was talking about, it is 8 hours of labor if I remember correctly.

I've had that option. I've also had two cars with the NavTV option. Both perform identically. The navTV option was installed by my stereo shop in a couple hours.

Install tip: The antenna goes under the plastic in front of the windshield. Bed the entire area in tin foil to increase its efficiency.
