Guys, can any of you help me locate a workshop manual for a 1956 Lancia Aurelia B24 Spider America?
I don't need an original, but would like it in english. Even on CD.

    Thanks.

I'm not sure that there ever was an official workshop manual for the Aurelia. Have you asked Omicron?

I'll ask someone who would know for certain.

I have the shop manuals for the Appia, Flaminia, Flavia, Fulvia, and Beta.

Try Continental Autosports Ferrari/Maserati as the owner has a Lancia B24.

Thanks for the input Jeff, Tom and Brian. We do already have a Flaminia reprint and, as Tom suggested, I think there might not be a specific one for this car. There might be an owners manual though and I would like to get one of those, I will ask Omicron.

I have been informed by a highly knowledgeable Aurelia owner that there is not a factory-issued workshop manual for the Aurelia. He says "I believe the English Club still prints a compilation of tech sheets, etc., and the Clive Beattie book '55 Years of Dirty Hands' (published by the Australian Lancia Register) has many pages on the Aurelia."

I have lots of material from the American and British Lancia Clubs, including a list of "Aurelia Technical Data Sketches", supposedly complete, which has 62 entries. All of these sheets should be available in the LMC Aurelia Manual (I don't have a copy).

Can you share what's going on? Did you get yourself a B24?

Tell him good luck with the project. Lancia's are great and underrated cars. I loved mine.

See if you can find yourself a copy of the Italian film "Il Sorpasso" for lots of great footage of driving around like a loony in an Aurelia B24 convertible. I have a poor copy.

Or watch the original version of "And God Created Woman", with Brigitte Bardot, for a few scenes with her sugar daddy and his B24 Spider.

I think I have a parts book for the Aurelia. If you're interested, I'll look for it.

Good luck with this one. From a quick look at some Aurelia pictures, I THINK the part in question is the same on Flaminia Zagato and Touring models, which did not have full column housings and had the turn signal switches mounted on the dash. It would be part #26 on this diagram, which is Lancia part #1703710, "sleeve, steering wheel hub". Your most likely source would be through Omicron / Martin Cliffe in England, but I would be amazed if anyone has a new one in stock. More likely to find a used one on a parts car.

Thanks for the information, I am only hoping for a good used original and will contact Omicron. This diagram is great, what book is it out of?

The diagram is from the Lancia Flaminia factory Spare Parts Catalog.

I used to own a Flaminia GTL Coupe by Touring. It had the "collar" like this, which could be loosened in order to telescope the steering column in and out a small distance. It was ribbed on the outer surface and must have had a very fine thread on the inside. I had the impression that it may have been bakelite.
