NO IT ISN'T! That is one of the best custom/recreations I have ever seen........DO YOU THINK YOU COULD DO BETTER???
Someone needs to run a red light if they see that thing passing through an intersection and just take one for the team.
Does anything look funny about this car? Read the description detail as to how much they say it is worth and the repair costs. Don't they have people in insurance companies who check up on these things when you say your car is worth $300k?
Nope. If you do a stated value policy and have one or two "buddy appraisals" that put the value at $xxx, xxx then that's what the insurance company is obligated to pay.
That's just crazy... no wonder the premiums are so high for the rest of us who are honestly insuring our cars.
this one is (dare i say it?) the best kit car i've ever seen? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6djsYsAzeA&NR=1&feature=fvwp it's not half bad... really!
Actually, it isn't at all bad. The wheels on the fake are a bit gawdy, but they did a pretty good job with the exterior body panels... at least from the views they give us in the video. Obviously, if you were pretending it was real, you'd be found out pretty darn quickly - but still, good effort. All the best, Andrew.
Not sure if this real or not, but doesn't look right, IMO. http://www.car-parazzi.com/display/index.cfm?display=ItemDetail&media_id=51485
right, and he's obviously being honest about making a fake one, and shows the real one for comparison. i don't think he's trying to pass it off as the real thing, but maybe he uses it as a decoy when going around town?
It could be built on a 280Z. I have a couple of friends (girls)that did major modifications on a 280Z based GTO replica. Do a search and you'll find some pics.
I don't believe that's a replica of anything on this planet. Builder should have left the badges off.
LOL! I like that idea! "I want to drive my Ferrari... honey? Honey? "Yes, love?" "Send out the decoy!" Hehehe
This thread is hilarious!!!! Ever notice how they all have to use the techno music ion their videos/photo slideshows? Maybe they have a kit car, ***** union that requires it? Why spend all that time, energy, and money to make a copy? Why not try to at least make something original?
