Saw the blue 16M this afternoon on W. Grey
Finally saw a California, green or grey (i can't remember). On Friday in 5 o'clock traffic on 610. Still had paper plates.
With this last week being so nice, I am surprised this thread has been so dead. I did see a Bentley and Porsche racing down 249. Not the greatsest sighting, and don't know the reason for the racing, but.....at least it was something
I've seen a few cars lately but it frustrates me how I can't post pictures any more. Maybe I should upgrade
I had to get mine out, it was so nice yesterday.. Had a brew at Jimmie's Ice House, then caught the end of the blues benefit at the Continental Club.
Took all 2 lane country roads to Austin and back yesterday and today in the GT4. What a great couple of days for a drive! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yeah, I saw you at 11th and TC Jester late afternoon (St Arnolds one). It was so nice yesterday I spent 2 hours bike riding Heights, Timber Grove, etc.
Thats Sugar Land to the Bastrop, 151 miles and takes me 3 hours. Driving those roads will take wear and tear off of you, remove 100 pounds of load from your shoulders, and remind you just how nice living in Texas is. Takes longer? Yes. Once you drive that route will you ever care that it takes longer? Nope
Slow down on 36 thru those lil' burgs, north of Rosenburg...that is a cool way to go....I used that route heading up Thursdays to Austin! Darn JCR, we are gonna get together SOMEDAY! LOL! I was on a run "for steaks" and you know, the list got longer and longer! LOL!
So I "spotted" a red 355 spider at the Hwy. 6 Body Shop this morning. They work on some high end cars, there was a two toned Rolls out there yesterday in the parking lot. A Collision Repair place south of I10, by Bumberra's Firestone...
Bumberra's is the place that usually has some very classic and rare american muscle right? If so I saw the red 355 today aswell and they also have a silver Porsche Turbo and in the showroom a yellow Esprit. tex ps, How ya doing brotha???
Dave, I'm formally submitting my request as a co-pilot one weekend! Would be a great cruise with you and BigTex and we could have lunch a "Maria's Taco Xpress"????? LittleTex LOL
Good! I told your Thread story to Val, and she wanted to send you a sleeping bag......she has ME to stay warm....LOL! I explained you needed WAY more than a few..... Yea, Bumberra's had a couple of Cobras and tons of American iron, the exotics are next door to the North,....same Owner??
You'll note Dave's route leads directly to the Lost Pines Resort, in Bastrop, he's sneaking away with Mrs. Dave......
I may have to try out that route. My girlfriend and I have been saying an Austin trip is long overdue so when we go I will probably go that way. Whats the road(s) once you get out of Houston, I can't tell with the map. Thanks
Well usually I have my hot looking wife sitting next to me but the next time she stays home the passenger seat is reserved for you. He most certaintly is We stay there once or twice a month, nice place. Ok this is the route I take. Good roads the whole way. You could bypass some of the smaller roads I take, but isn't the entire reason you'd take this route to get away from the madness of the busy ones? I cut out the starting directions from my house since I don't think Mrs. Dave would find it funny if you all started from my driveway. If you have the Mrs with you stop in Fayetteville. The public restrooms in the square are clean and well taken care of. The premium fuel around the corner is well priced (get a loaf of the bread ladies home made bread if they have any left). Watch for deer as you're entering Fayetteville Post Oak road is pretty small and most maps don't have it. Not too worry, it goes through no problem. It'll look like you're heading into the RV park but just drive past the entrance. Watch for deer before Winchester. Drop me a note if you're making a run and maybe I'll show you the way.
Grigio ferro and tan california with paper plates at the starbucks in vintage park. it was a very pretty car
Black 430 with black wheels, I think the wheels might have had a yellow ring around the lip. The 430 was at Skinner turning onto Spring Cypress this afternoon. Also a white GT3 with paper tags on feeder of 290 turning onto Spring Cypress.
