It does.

 

For radiant heating gypcrete is ususally used just for interiors and concrete in used for garages and external applications. We just finished a house in Montana using radiant heating throughout; gypcrete in the house and concrete in the garages. Concrete does a great job transferring the heat into the garage. We wanted to use snowment in a few areas but it was just to expensive; we're using geothermal for most of the heating and we would have had to add a boiler for snowmelt to work.

Great job on your garage Bill, many of us would be happy to live there, even without the Enzo!

 

Its too bad you mentioned the rodent problem after the walls were closed. I would have suggested putting a line of paprika along any horizontal surface before paneling the walls... the wire chewing bastards can't stand the stuff...

 

A similar rodent situation came up on a thread in another forum recently. The owner took matters into his own hands, with interesting results. Definitely worth a quick skim for comedy gold. Not for those squeamish about hurting our furry friends.

You posted that last picture upside down, it makes it look like your're putting tile on the ceiling

It all looks great.

 

Then I want a ladder like his that will stick to the ceiling.

One thing that would eternally frustrate me it the light not being center on the tile, otherwise, no negative comments here!
