    Very very nice Bill.

Hey I forgot to mention: if you ever screw in the tow-hook, please remember to NEVER attempt to open the front hood with it still in place. Ive seen lots of front mesh screens accidentally destroyed by this unwitting maneuver. Other than that, Happy Motoring!

    Bill,

Here is some info on those lights.

    http://www.ironsmith.cc/TREE-GRATE-LIGHT.htm

You would obviously need just the lamp assembly, without the cover and pivoting bracket. The main body is 3-1/2" x 2-3/8" with a 12v input. Has 4 tapped holes at the base for mounting.

Like I said it wasn't designed to be used in plain sight so there isn't a fancy mounting bracket but it can be made very easily. Other than that the main body looks great.

Here is a pic I found of the main body.

Bill, nice garage and toys to go into it. I wish someday that I could see that garage. In my dreams I will be able to have cars like that.

Love your E63, but why not S63?

I've got an S550, the S-class is an amazing car!

By the way, you garage is absolutely wonderful! I love the tiles!

I see that, (like me) you believe Porsche and Ferrari are the best sports cars out there.

I didn't want a 4-door sedan, but was kind of forced into it by family! So the E63 had the best combination of acceleration, light weight, handling, luxury and quality in a 4-door sedan at the time (2007). I also considered the M5 which is a bit more sporty, but lacked the quality, luxury and simplicity I see in the latest Mercedes products.

Ferrari and Porsche have the world-class racing technology that finds its way into their road cars, especially regarding light weight and powerful responsive engines. But they do need to keep an eye on Audi, Mercedes, and especially Pagani.

Some completed garage work to follow...

    Thanks Andrew!

I should mention that the F40 is completely covered by a nearly imperceptible clear polyurethane film by www.premiermobilegroup.com

They found a novel way to work around the car. They don't!

Do you go to check on their progress only to find a line of guys standing next to the F40 - all wearing the same expression? :)

Ah, I see. If you ever get bored of the E63, may I recommend the CLS63, is it is literally a 4 door coupe. Mercedes calls it a coupe, yet it has four doors. I am also with you on the BMW vs Mercedes thing, though you might of been talking about specifically M5 vs E63, I think it is true in the whole brand. Mercedes are so advanced but so simple and easy to use, full of German rock solid quality, luxurious and they are with any doubt the most famous "luxury car," that's why I love 'em!

Definitely true, in addition to the racing technology, they have an unbelievable racing history which is what separates them from most. Lamborghini is often compared to them, I don't know how you feel, but frankly I don't like them, very showy and conspicuous.

By the way, the latest pictures of you garage look unbelievable! Talk about an inspiration.

Yes! We wanted it to feel like the cars were in a living area, not a garage. But a living area where we can still work on the cars with easy clean-up. All surfaces are fairly resistant to car fluids.

Good one! One worker has a Corvette and one a 911. I think they really enjoy seeing how the cars look against their magnificent work, especially our interior consultant. She started out as someone who was NOT a car person at all, but she has now turned into a car-gal, especially after seeing the Enzo in person (and getting a ride in the Enzo and CGT). Now a requirement for the next guy she meets is he needs to be a car guy!
