So where are they?
Dunno about Red Bull. But they just interviewed Kovalainen in Finland who stated that he drinks and parties just like any other Finn -read Kimi- only he does it behind closed doors so as not to make waves. That admission sure answered some of MY questions about Lotus.
Red Bull at Jerez Lotus - location not announced, but most likely London Force India - on-line 9 February Carol
The Red Bull team is rumored to have a sensationally revolutionary car. They already have one of the top 3 drivers. So...
I've got one of their machine tool spindles booked in for an investigation later in the week, if that helps any. (shows they must be making something! ) (I believe I've got another McLaren one on the way as well!).
Hmm, not really: I read an article about how McLaren developed their 2010 car. They found a lot of ambiguity in the rules and went back to the FIA to verify that their interpretation was legit. They did this about 3 times. So I can easily see how a super brain like Newey would come up with something. The car will probably not look radically different, but have some neat tricks up its sleeves and rear wing.
Ahh...is it #3 or top 3? Should be exciting to see what 'ol Newey has up his sleeves this year (considering a few of the teams are following his design lead of "platypus nose" from last year.)
I think people are downplaying the possibility that Red Bull can win the world championship... Odds makers have Vettel at 7:1, Webber at 22:1. With a Newey designed car, with a team that just finished 2nd? Absurd.
Well, before last year wich was an absolute chaos season they never have been Wcc contenders, newey or not. so it's normal to wait and see what's going to be. Same for Brawn, but it's different since Mercedes is involved now.
