Bring it over at the weekend Tom and let me see it. As you know i loved my 355. When done and enjoy in safety
Well, mine got me divorced.....at which point, I was in every bar in town saying: "Hi, my name is Alan, what's yours????" No room for shyness, there!!!!
Tom, well done and hope I played a small part in a) going for a 355 and b) not getting a red one, hope you have as much enjoyment and fun as I have had and still do from my own. Dave
You certainly did Dave, although I'm afraid to say not on all counts... I had to buy a manual for the gorgeous open gate. Got it home safe and sound today, the roads were a little slippery but mostly fine! Posted these pics on Club Scud but may as well put them here too. LOVING the steering wheel! The Giallo modena colour is beautiful too...Needs a challenge grille to make it perfect though!
Haha, she's tucked away downstairs now and I'm suffering from severe man-flu after running on adrenaline all day today! Agreed Bas, I'm on the lookout for one second hand (don't want to pay the extra few hundred quid for a brand new one, I'm not that minted! ).
Tom, well done looks gorgeous will let you off with the manual as my first was also manual (328) still mostly original except the carbon door sills and paddles but now have a nouvalari sports exhaust that I will fit when I return in mid april also have to change the clutch which is not bad considering i have done 20K and they say the f1 clutch wear is horrendous!!! anyway get over the flu and get driving they will be the perfect medicine. Dave
Cheers Dave! Mine still has the original sills on it (and they look fine, no signs of corrosion) and some unknown sports exhaust, maybe one of QV's?
And the great thing about this story is the fact that Tom as an enthusiast has been around the Ferrari forums for many a year now and has been a great addition to the many Ferrari events that he has been to including my Factory tour event in 2006. Just show that hard work, passion and dedication can and will still get you where you want to be. Well done Tom.
