Agreed, I'd take the 918 Spyder in a heart beat. Especially if they added a top. :D

    911 turbo or 458?
Porsche is doing the best sport cars.... but the 458 is not a car, it is a Ferrari ;-)

Use your head and you'll choose the 911. Use your heart and you'll choose the 458.

But isn't that the heart of the problem? :) I reckon with the 458 you'd be thinking about it just about every minute that you weren't in it!

I loved my CGT. I still love my 993RS and 930 Turbo SE. I respected but did not love many others - in particular my 997GT3RS.

    Same for Ferrari.

Hard to make a generalisation for a marque like Porsche Lesia44

Not exactly, Porsche has come out with concepts that have been never produced(rare, but has happened) however they do use the styling off of the concepts in later projects. One of the most famous was the Panamericana..... Getting back on the main subject the difference between Turbo S and 458 is the Turbo S is a daily driver and the 458 is more of a weekend toy. Financially the 458 is the better choice and IMO the 458 would be my choice hands down.

    Depends where your head is...

    What's a 911? A Seven 11 that opened two hours late?

    Thanks!

    Snobbish?
Since when is a Porsche not an elitist acquisition, unless they sell them in Nine-11s??!!

I've owned 39 Porsche's and 4 Ferrari's all the Ferrari's were sold, I will always own a Porsche. though I would never own one that was AWD or kept stock.

The real irony here is that the Porsche is available in a manual.

The 'harsh' reality is that most of those guys on the Porsche forum will have to 'settle' for the Twin Turbo 997. But at the end of the day, they'll be able to manually downshift before apexing.

    Just sayin'. :)
