Has anyone taken the time to wiegh any of these wheels? I just bought a 348 speciale that has been converted into a challenge car and it has the really heavy ebay wheels on it, like 70 pounds with tires, horrible performance for the track. I dont care as much about looks as I do the lightest weight at the lowest cost, I appreciate any insight.

When I installed the 360 wheels, I didn't weight them, but I have no doubt they felt lighter than the stock ones ...

need the short bolts on the rear otherwise bolt right on. I've got the ss though which has the spacer built in. 93 on should have the same too.

Those 360 modulars on a 348 are just beautiful. Almost perfect for the car. The regular 360 wheels are a big improvement, too. Really nice upgrade.

Currently running F430 wheels (same widths and offsets as 360 Modena, but diameter is 19") on Hankook V12 Evo's in the following sizes:
    F: 225/40-19
    R: 275/35-19

Would have gone with 215/40 up front but the size is not readily available. It's now slightly taller than stock (215/50-17 and 255/45-17) but F/R ratio is maintained - looks awesome and gives the wheels a little more protection than the undersized alternatives that most people run (225/35-19 and 285/30-19).

With the 18" Modena wheels I would recommend F: 215/45-18 and R:265/40-18 which are the closest sizes to OEM diameters. Maybe step up to 225 and 275 if you have to.

PICTURES !!! I love the twin-spoke F430 wheels. Would love to see it on the 348.

It always amazes me how much better Ferrari wheels look on models for which they were not OEM. Those 360 wheels look beautiful, and my 575M OEM wheels are now on a friend's 456. Mix and match never looked so good.

I bought a set of HRE wheels before checking the offset, they didn't fit, but I was fortunate enough to sell them quickly for what I had in them. Is there any spacers or anything required for the 360 wheels on a 91 348, and do the 360 wheels require special lug bolts, or do the stock 348 bolts work?

    Thanks,

    Dave

Thanks, I'll probably pick up a set next week off of e-bay. I installed Husker's rear tail light kit, car is really taking shape. Another question, my targa is black and I see a lot of painted targas. My targa has a rough texture, are the painted tops a different top, and if not what would it look like to paint a rough texture black on red?

the colour coded roof will look like a hard top
it will look smooth like a berlinetta without the rough look.

Yep... that's what I did with my TS... just sand off the rough texture to make it smooth, then paint to match the rest of the car. A dramatic improvement in my opinion! The rough textured top just looks cheap and plastic-like. Painted to match makes the car look as it should.

I have another question to throw out there on wheels. There are a lot of 430 wheels for sale at a reasonable price. They have the same offset as the 360 wheels, but they are 19" in diameter. They have 35 series tires on them. Will those wheels fit a 348?
