R, it's great to see you putting miles on your bull. Is your's the one in front or back? How was the lunch at Bing Crosby's guys?

 

His was in the front. Mine was the one in back. Funny thing is that we both have the early Murci wheels on our cars (by FAR the best wheel for the Diablo IMO - same ones Junior has on his Diablo). Mine are gloss black and his are stock silver with cool graphite colored inserts.

You know, on the way home, we drove down the 680 together. As I was looking at his 8 pipes, I started thinking.......

Mine has 4 pipes. 3 cylinders firing out the headers into each pipe. I can do that math.

But his has 8 in a 12 cylinder motor. Do some have 1 going into them and some have 2? I literally was trying to figure it out on the way home. Do his 4 pipes break into two tips to make his 8? That's what I am assuming.

People were going crazy for the dual black Diablos though on the drive home. Earlier in the drive home we had Rick in his blue TR. Was a very cool sight to see.

Its really impressed when three of us rolled on the way home. Lots of people shooting us by their cellular phone or camera.

We had a great time with everyone (Ed, Lauren, Hiro, Rex, Vijay, Kyle, Bill, Amy, Billy, and Conner). Lunch was fun in the Wine Room. Calamari, crab sandwich, and dessert were great. Waiter dude was missing a spark plug. The F40 is absolutely stunning and the twin Diablo escort down 680 was wicked awesome!
