Just felt a small earthquake here in Torrance. Not much of one but it moved the house a little.
Felt it in Agoura also. Shook pretty hard !! Earthquake Details * This event has been reviewed by a seismologist. Felt it big time here in Carlsbad. First time I've ever been so spooked by an earthquake that I grabbed the dog and went outside for 10 minutes.
I was in a big tilt up building in San Marcos at the time and I thought the walls just might come down. They were movin' big time. Man what a ride!
I was in the PIG (Cayenne) sitting at a light just picked up my daughter from school and the car started to roll side to side. I turn my head to tell my daughter to stop rocking, saw her just sitting still. Then I thought maybe it was an earthquake but didn't see any light pole move... until I heard the news later. Had to apologize to my daughter for yelling at her.
Out here vacationing from Mississippi around San Diego. Sitting at a red light with my wife, daughter and dog. Asked my wife what the hell was that damn dog doing in the back of the car. Once I finally realized it wasn't my dog shaking the car, I got to admit I was nerve racked. My wife really didn't like all that....just not what we see in Mississippi. Give me a hurricane any day over one of those.
I'm in Woodland Hills and I didn't even notice it, perhaps because about that time I was returning from picking my daughter up from camp and driving the 360...just figured it was the road or my bad driving skilz. Let us join in prayer that each of these smaller quakes somehow relieves pressure from what otherwise may be a large one building. Seems these things come in 20-year cycles and we're just 4 years short of due. Also seems we rock then San Francisco rocks and then we rock, like an alternating cycle. Sure do hate 'em.
I was in a meeting and it seem to go on for about 15 seconds or so. It felt pretty strong. Funny thing is that none of us moved or reacted, just kept talking.
That is because you were in a room full of overtly intelligent MD and lawyer types discussing how to take over the world and the subconscious would never interrupt a meeting so important....
shook the hell out of my house in palm springs. It shook and rolled at the same time, wierd. My dog came out of the room barking before I even felt anything.
Rule of thumb for meetings: "If they can't start a meeting without you, well, that's a meeting worth going to, isn't it? And that's the only kind of meeting you should ever concern yourselves with." What's the movie? Darth, you can't guess.
