    My take on the new premises of Ferrari/Maserati of Vancouver is they are a BIG DEAL! and a credit to the city. For this reason, I'm starting a new post for Cdn readers.

    First, hats off to Brian Ross -- the owner -- and staff at FMoV. As you may know, Brian is a true F enthusiast, owing some 20+ cars, including an Enzo, F50, F40, 288GTO, all of which are drawing spectators at FMoVs window gallery. My understanding is that Brian's personal and work life are spread between Ohio and Vancouver, with hopes of more time to be spent in Vancouver in the future.

    I expect FMoV to be much more visible, not only in terms of its products on the market, but as a destination for the curious visitor, and as an organizer of F-related events.

    A few observations on the new premises;

    -- Plenty of photos on FMoV website + the British Columbia post; the premises are truly impressive;
    -- Closed the week of August 2nd as they complete move-in; possible doors open to the public on saturday, August 7th.
    -- Second floor with F ordering options -- colors, leathers, seats, etc -- will be open to visitors as will the large third floor where used and new cars will be located for viewing.
    -- Official opening sometime during the second week of Sept.

    I regard FMoVs new home akin to a private art gallery. Its products are clearly for sale on the private market but by opening its doors to the public and allowing viewing of so many tantalizing F items, I think they are providing a true public service! I'm also informed coffee will be available for visitors, so what more could we ask for?

    Great write up Paul. I am really looking forward to looking through the new place. I really like the big glass windows looking into the service area. Huge difference to the old FMoV on Venables. I look forward to see some great cars go through the service area with everyone there to see. I will definitely post more video of the dealership soon.

    It also must be nice having your old CS front and center on the showroom floor :)

    Just visited the new digs this past weekend and was quite impressed. Can't wait to see it all finished. Parking around there seems to be limited. If they can solve that equation they're golden!

    Yes, but the real thrill was driving my 458 out of the building on friday, August 6th. It's all I could hope for, stunning! FMov has photos, maybe they'll post a few.

    Looks outstanding.

    I had a 599 with Blue TDF exterior, sabbia interior.
    Wanted to get the same combo on the 458, but chickened out at the last minute (went with grigio silvestone/cuoio copmbination).

    Is that Blue TDF or something else?

    That 458 is a stand out in the special order blue. I believe Paul chose Blu Mediterraneo which is a Maserati color.

    Joe, TDF is a tad darker and then of course there is the Pozzi Blue. As our colleague of2worlds stated probably the Med. maser blue?

    Congrats and enjoy it in good health! Love the color combination, the color resembles Lambo's Monterey Blue.
