Being able to shoot video is worth the switch all by itself, but dam is this 7d fast... and smart! Love it.
Founds some time to put up some pics from the last couple of weeks. I've been going every week but haven't had a chance to post pics. Must find time, 'cos there's been some great stuff turning up. Enjoy. http://imageevent.com/grndfx/carscoffeecollections Image Unavailable, Please Login
Great show today. Two 458 Italias (neither on fire), Superamerca, TR, Scud, Mondial, 308, etc. http://frank4carsfrank.blogspot.com/2010/09/cars-coffee-9410.html ****By the way - don't forget - no show 9/18 That's the day of Mazda's SevenStock meet. No alternative show on the Zoom-Zoom road this year unfortunately.****
Great photos as always! Looks like you picked up a 7D - how do you like it? Not sure if you've done movies w/ it yet - but do at least one as a test - that's how I found out my 7D has a dead pixel...
Hey Andre, Yeah I got the 7D finally. Picked it up right before Monterey. I love it. The ability to go to high ISO without getting grainy is amazing and everything else is so much better than my 30D too that it makes the 30D feel like it's 20 years old. I'm still trying to perfect my video technique, but it is very nice to be able to click over and capture sound on some of these cars so it has definitely come in handy. I just finished uploading all of the video clips to YouTube. http://www.frank4cars.com and click on the "Video" tab. I didn't spot any dead pixels, but I didn't look that closely either so maybe there are one or two in there.
This was another GREAT Cars and Coffee weekend. There where 3 Italias in attendance and tons of bad fire jokes floating around. :-D Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
