    I think my alternator is on it's way out. Any recommendations on a shop to rebuild it in the Seattle area?

    Not really close to you, but I've had good, honest service from Dennis Kitts at "Alternator and Starter Exchange" in Puyallup. phone (253)845-9390. Who's the manufacturer on your alternator? Bosch? Marelli? Other?

    That is a little far, although I do make semi-regular trips down to Puyallup. I believe that it's a Bosch unit.

    I had Sound Starter and Alternater in Tacoma rebuild the alternater from my mondial and it works great and was only about $130.

    They used to be by Safeco field, but moved a couple years ago to Kent.

    If it is a Bosch unit, try Autozone. I purchased a bosch alternator for my 308 for $67.00 lifetime warranty. I will assume if I return it for warranty, they just shoot me!!!!!!!!!!!
