The owners change but the teams often remain the same. As someone said, Red Bull was Stewart GP which then was Jaguar and then Red Bull. Many of the people are the same people that have been at that team since the beginning, and most of the people in F1 have been in the sport for years and years - whether at the "impure" RBR or Ferrari or McLaren or anywhere else.

    What a pointless thread.

I'm a big Ferrari fan but don't be bitter because a new team won, they won because they had the best team, car and 2 very competitive drivers that were able to perform when it counted.

    Simple as that.

Okay they have no history but they are making history.

    Make that Red Bull
While the word 'race' is correct Queens English, it i.s not correct American English. The word in typical FerrariChat posts should be 'races'.

    Make that F1.

    Make that 'its'.

WHERE IS THE PERIOD at the end of the sentance?

    Make that Ferrari.

    Make that F1, again.

    Where is the period?

    Make that They.

    Sentances end with periods.

    Make that Ferrari, again.

This form of that word is spelled 'their'.

    Another missing period.

The beginning of a sentance starts with a capital leter (except in very obscure circumstances.)

It is difficult to decide if the missing punctuation is a comma or a period (followed by a capitol letter.)

    Here, a comma is necessary.
    Calendar is misspelled.

Where is the period at the end of the sentance?
And the capital letter at the first word of the next sentance?

This sentance makes no sense unless a comma is inserted right here.
    F1 needs to be capitalized.

    Make that Ferrari.

make that McLaren, and end the sentance with a period.

End the sentance with a period.

Peoples names begin with capital letters, both of them.

    Sentances end with a period.

I have to agree with you, for me F1 should be a Manufacturer's sport where 1 manufacturer can have only 1 team with 2 cars. For me F1 was and might still be about technology, quite a few bit of mechanical equipment we have on road cars has been developed in F1; so from RBR's Constructor's win what can they provide the motor world? The other thing I really dislike about RBR is their 2 teams, of course, the second (Toro Rosso) will never get anywhere because they are sort of a backup to RBR, why does the FIA and Bernie let them stay is beyond my knowledge but possibly involves math and their own pockets.

In the other hand there are teams like Williams and Sauber. There are teams which one way or another have provided the automotive world with positive gains. Williams have been working on their Flywheel KERS system for example which has been in use with Porsche and will someday make it to cars we all can drive on roads. But as of now I do not see the gain of RBR in F1 apart from providing some sort of entertainment for all of us and being a marketing tool for selling their energy drinks.

By the way, congratulations to them for their Constructors Championship, even though they're not my team they won fair and square and the mechanics and engineers deserve it as much as Vettel and Webber.

RBR may not exist, but they have shown more sportsmanship than Ferrari. I really hope Alonso wins by more than seven points.

Not to be argumentative but I believe that's a myth. Red Bull wants Vettel to win over Webber.

If the points situation was reversed, I'm sure they would have asked Webber to step aside for Vettel.

Besides, the "ourtrageous objection" to team orders has already been raised this year. You can't argue against it and then for it another time. Red Bull and the other teams painted themselves in a box for no reason.

It's a team sport. Treat it like one. Saying there are no team order is merely a PR stunt.

... is that they keep saying that they have been only around for 6 years. Bollocks its the same team as Stewart Racing, then renamed Jaguar and then bought by Red Bull.

It probably was something else before Stewart racing also ...

You best get used to non-automotive companies as Formula One "constructors", they're not going away anytime soon.

After they gave Seb Webber's wing the team came out and said that they were doing it to support Vettle's championship bid. After all he was 12 points ahead of Webber and there were "only" nine races left.
Odd thing is that when Webber was ahead by more points and there were fewer races they claimed to support both equally.

Webber's comment after winning that race:

    "Not bad for number 2".

That says it all. Webber knows more than anyone that the team has been supporting Vettel over Webber.

So, the idea that they are some kind of great sportsman is total BS.
