I've been thinking about some new tires for the 348 and have been leaning toward Pirelli but I'm nervous about the guys at discount tire damaging my car, being so low the lifts scare me, It is just a car and that's what they do so maybe I shouldn't worry but I was wondering where others have gone. Thanks.

As for tires, I've had great success with Tire Rack shipping direct to me or my mechanic.

They appear to have Pirelli PZero System, Bridgestone Potenza and Michelin Pilot HX (among others) available for your car. With AZ Mobile Tire apparently no longer in business, I have no recommendation for an independent service to mount and balance. I've had Scottsdale Ferrari mount and balance for my sports cars (no bargain) and would trust British Automotive to handle my wire wheels.

I have used AZ Auto Trends in Tempe for multiple vehicles, including the 355. Jenny will take good care of you.

Ditto Brian - I ordered from Tire Rack, and they delivered to Wheel Specialists in Tempe. I was very happy with Wheel Specialists. I delivered my Challenge wheels to them, and they installed the new tires.

I've used Discount for years, and they have always taken great care of me and my cars. They have never damaged anything and their prices are great.

Tire Rack all the way. They also have associated installers through out the country (you can ship directly to them). I too was nervous about the lift part. The GY store let me drive my 360 on the rack. They used wood blocks to fit the Ferrari jack points. Just got to really watch the people. Call their different associated installers first. The other way suggested to me was to jack each side at the back and replace one side at a time. Don't forget to torque. Bill

The tire rack and a trusted dealership are tough to beat. I bought 12 tires at once for two f-cars and one p-car this past July.

Just wanted to say thankyou to everyone for their help and input on buying tires, I had to leave town before I could buy a set the first time but got home last Tuesday, called Discount tire, they have a flat lift and lift blocks for Ferrari but would be over a week to get the tires in so I got a set to put on the vette there (last time I put tires on it was in 1989!) and then called Wheel Specialist in Tempe and they had a set of Pirelli pzero tires in two days. Just put them on today, the car handled different on the way home then it did going there!

    Guys,

I need to get new rubber for the CS. I want to get the RE-11s.

Scottsdale Ferrari said they can't get them.

    Who should I call to:

    1) Get the tires
    2) Install the tires?

    Thanks!

I've used discount for everything from a 308, 348, TR, CS to the F40, and they always have taken great care of my cars and wheels. Of course I usually am armed when I go...... I'm not sure if that has any effect. ;)

Seriously, they have always done me right.
