The thread was closed on the basis that Jas was preparing to say something about the situation, and nothing more needed to be said until then. I think the OP's looking to see if Jas responded or not.
There was an article written that was "OK" about the situation in a past issue of 0-60. I don't recall who the author was. I think it's safe to say that is enough in the public domain. If I were in the same shoes, I wouldn't say more either. It's just something to move on from.
Ummm... you can look in the thread he posted and see that Jas never replied. Another thread was not needed. How about a PM to Jas???
