GT2RS is most likely faster, but I'd rather have the CGT. but none of the 911 variants have done particularly well when people are asking big premiums (10%, in this case)....the market just doesn't support it.
I know of one available for list price. I won't say where because I work for the dealership and don't want to get in trouble with FChat. If interested, send me a PM.
$300K for a 911 is some serious coin. For little more than half of that price you can find a 997 RSR with a spares package. I'll take the latter, thank you very much. http://www.theracersgroup.com/cars/car.php?id=72
As someone already indicated, getting one for list isn't very difficult. Great car but you're going to lose some serious $$ on that one. If you don't care it's a helluva car.
It is probably the best new 'street' car available today. However, if you can wait a few years, it will not be difficult to buy a 2,000 mile one-owner car, that has already taken a huge financial hit.
Thats exactly what I though when I saw the price. You could have 2-3 other amazing cars for that money. And the problem with it is that except for car folks nobody will no the difference. With an Fcar its different, even a cheaper/older model.
FYI, some enthusiasts buy cars to enjoy and appreciate themselves, not to impress other people. "With an Fcar its different, even a cheaper/older model." Wow, where to begin... Let me guess, you'd rather have a F355 than a new GT2RS because it would look far more impressive to your neighbors.
