Any chance you are going to pull off the VR colour theme as seen on his 16M on your spider?

I believe that's how H113862 did his wrap. Razor blades are inevitable and if operated on by a professional scratches should be minimal. I've seen some Lambos where I live suffer really bad scratches when the vinyls were applied by not so pros...but most would exercise great caution when performing such a job on a supercar....most.

I don't know. Finish looks like plastic. A giant toy Ferrari. The paint (most colors) is so deep and rich, it's a sin to do that to one.

Yep, I got it wrapped over two years ago now by a car signwriting company. Love it. To be honest, hadn't really thought about razor blades, and won't really know until it's time to take it off. I won't lose any sleep worrying ...

Oh, and no, won't be going for the VR colour scheme.

I love the matte black look. Although, as I've found out, it's not for everybody. That's ok, though ... it's not their car :)

Yeah, it's not for everybody. You can get glossy wraps that look just like a paint job - the matte black is a little out there, but the point is, it can be taken off, and underneath is a factory spec Ferrari - in my case, anyway ...

Stickercity - 174 bucks, and real 3M Di-Noc product. Not just a picture of CF ... has texture, like real CF. We'll see how it goes ... we can all learn on my nickel on this one. Should be done in the next few weeks.

Yo Mark. Let me know how's e quality of the sticker city vinyls. I've been putting off an orde for either the 16m ti colour stripes or the scuderia grey stripes.

Yo - no problem ... will do. Car is at shop now, I will have John at Metropolitan detail put the strip on ASAP. The thing to look for, is it 3M Di-noc product. It is thicker, and has actual CF texture. I have a CF complete interior, so I think it will look great. If not, I can always remove it.

Here is a pic of the actual product:

Holy Crapolla! And I thought it was expensive to build the decal from scratch with one of the decal shops in town. I was quoted USD$290 supplied and installed.

That is cheap. I paid $3300 to paint stripes on another exotic ... and can't remove it. $500 bucks to have a cool look for a few years, and then peel off with without effecting the paint - seems like a bargain to me.

I have always liked stripes on cars ... even psychadelic ones like these on my 71 GTO convertible. Like an acid trip gone bad ... but I love them :)

And no, I am not a child of the sixties ... not near old enough.

You are right, that is cheap IMO! Make the car the way you like it!

And as you might remember, Jamie ... that other car ($3300) was the Viper that we both had, at one point. Stripes on that puppy was expensive, and they clearcoated over them, so no "ridge".

Definately! $400 is like tip money compared to those!
