Proof positive that Gary is using his nose for something purposeful other than keeping his ears from smashing together!
I pay all of my participants (incl my wife) a nominal fee in return for a signed release so I can use their images. Everybody wins! I had always used "moving roadblock" when referring to plugzit on the track but I like your phrasing better! I will dig up a nice hi-res shot of the 355, the plate and a pretty girl (or 3). Stay tuned. What? No Cassia or Nicole??
Sorry Dave, this first pic is the best I can do...she's covering up part of the "R" though, I guess I'll have to have her reshoot...dangit. The 2nd pic is just b'cuz. BTW, if you like these pics/videos - just wait until you see Monica with the "Factory Five" and the Lambo Jalpa. Yes, I'm holding out on you guys... lol. I would be honored to... 1. Be the slowest guy on the track with you guys. Uhhhhh, when do you think you'll get to the track???? 2. But if Monica, Nicole, Nikki, Stephanie, or Zophie is in the car with me, I probably won't complete the first lap anyway-but that's ok.
Hey Sandy Eggo, I got busy and forgot to get to you about a high res image. I took a break between tasks and made a break for do a quick and dirty version using a forum version of the image. let me know what you think. http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5065/5694718400_87bf9f2c31_b.jpg
Danger Monica, your playing with a tough crowd! Have we chosen a Race Queen for the GFRT Series yet? Raise the dues, the position will require Hazard pay!
Thanks for taking the time to enhance the photo. Looks better. I notice the sky is 'bluer' and cropped from the left - which are good calls. I'm not sure I would have done the asphalt shading although it is an interesting effect. Also looks like it got darker along the fence-line - did you boost the contrast? When I get around to piecing together a photobook, I'll definitely do some post-production magic to the photos.
you pretty much caught all the changes. i did this in about 5 min. i was trying to find some way to make the car and model pop from the background. On the right above the car, the area was burned in so that it would stop making a visual pull. Actually all the asphalt (including the stuff in background) was burned in a bit as well. The foreground sading/contrast was a bit experimental. The blue used for the sky was also just a really quick try, you can see some blue over the leaves in the background, was a quick fix. Would perhaps opt to go for a better hue. Thanks for the feedback!
I just have to give credit to the person who posted this idea...it kept simmering in the back of my mind and I finally went to work on it this week. I figured the final product deserved to be posted here as a tribute of sorts. Enjoy! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=38XP-UOW2aY[/ame]
