Thanks Pap. My run continues it seems. My step-mother died two days ago as peacefully as its possible to do, aged 90. That's the last of my 4 parents gone. Guess I'll try some shopping therapy to keep positive. Looking for a suitable daily driver atm. Might go an M3 coupe if one suits my legs etc.
Dave, if there was no 'bad' luck you wouldn't have any luck Get one of the E49 Chargers mate, they have extremely easy access and will get the old ticker pumping
God no! First time I ever got drunk, mates talked me into playing hookey and we bought a 5 liter flagon of cheap sweat sherry. I've never been able to touch sherry since. A really good port is nice though.
Yes. Being on the north coast, the route was perfect for me and a great chance to get together with everyone, talk cars over a good dinner etc. I'll have other chances to do that though if I'm sensible with looking after myself, though. Thanks for the best wishes, everyone! They motivate me to get out and meet you even more.
Hmmm. Looks good. Fun FWD performance with a transmission that'd suit me, with excellant value for money. I'll pt one on my short list to consider. Biggest consideration is door room to swing my right leg into the vehic le. PP and co can tell you what a struggle it was on my last visit to melbourne.
LOL Well, Achim, my little hot commodore loving off-sider would probivbly like one but I need a little more line, some curves and subtlety. LOL I'm astonished at the impression you seem to have garnered of my automotive tastes. ROFL
