Rise of the Planet of the Apes..........bad monkey......
I didn't understand what the movie was trying to say other than if you do drugs everything will work out.
What I found fascinating regarding the plot was the drugs ability to awaken the 80% of the brain we can't tap in to - it suggested we are capable of incredible feats if our brain is simply unleashed - one can only imagine what any one of us can do completely unleashed and unfettered in any given direction and/or as suggested in the movie in multiplicity of directions. The movie was comprehensively very well produced. The direction, script, story line, underlying tones, mood, depth, acting and delivery we're all first rate. It is not a 'light" movie and frankly would require some attention to the quantum leap from lost and frustrated novelist/writer to a world class financial wizard capable of pulling off the largest international merger ever contemplated while balancing the multiple dilemma's of realty and idealic nature of the drug itself. The movie didn't have to adapt to the parallel evolving relationships (Russians) and often a movie can get muddled down and spread to thin. Not the case here, it strongly contributed to the overall palate that provided for great entertainment. Who wouldn't want to see what one week on that drug could produce Fun Stuff
Saw the ape movie and thought it was better than Aliens and Cowboys which seemed to drag on. Ape movie held my attention from start to finish. Hope to see the Senna movie next week.
Hot Whips, Tricks and Fat Chicks IV didn't have as many cars in it as I thought it would. Decent cinematography, but the story line was unclear. I didn't know why the nurses were trapped at the construction site over night.
Limitless Very good movie. I thought the movie was headed one direction, but then again I am not on NZT so I didn't see the all the possibilities the story could have went. 8.5/10.
Sucker Punch. Funny, I heard from some co-workers into comic book films that hated it. I didn't hate it, interesting story and nice visuals, it was ok.
Finally watched Social Network. Thought is was interesting and worth the watch (good, not great) though I assume it shouldn't be thought of as a documentary, but dramatized reality. I have no clue what Zuckerberg is like in real life but his character in the movie was annoying as hell.
Apollo 18 : Boring. Final Destination 5 : If you liked the previous ones, you will enjoy this one except for the stupid "if you take a life, you will be spared" part.
