Hi folks, I've been living in South Korea for about 5 months now and more recently, I've started to see a few Ferraris around, particularly in Busan. I took two photos of a stunning yellow 458 in Haeundae at the weekend so here they are: http://www.flickr.com/photos/v15ben/5366057523/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/v15ben/5366249802 I have also seen a red 599, white F430 spider, red F430 coupe and various other exotics (Gallardo, R8, Corvette etc, mainly in the Haeundae area.) I also saw a Novitec Rosso F430, Mercedes SLS and Porsche 997 GT3 in Seoul. Does anyone have any more information about Ferrari or Ferrari events in Korea? I heard a story that there was once a 250GTO in Korea, is this correct? Thanks
Thanks for sharing the pics. Yes, there used to be a 250 GTO in Seoul. In 2008, a British buyer bought a 250 GTO that formerly belonged to Lee Kun-hee of Samsung Electronics at an auction for a record £15.7 million.
Thanks for the info about the 250GTO, very interesting! I saw a 599, 430 Spider and various other nice cars (911 Turbo, V10 R8 etc etc) in Busan yesterday so will put up some photos of the Ferraris when I have edited them!
Bob, I am here for work. I teach in Ulsan and regularly visit Busan and Haeundae beach there which is where I see most of the exotics! Join the ferrari club korea at cafe.daum.net/ferrari we usually have get togethers once every couple weeks across the country. Theres also a ferrari cafe run by the club that houses an fxx and an f1 car. Usually about 10 to 20 people show for get togethers or drives.

I haven't really seen too many supercars recently. I went to Seoul last week however and saw more in an hour than I've seen in my past 12 months of living here. Long time since I saw anything nice in Korea, then last weekend I saw a brand new 458 in Haeundae and much more surprisingly, a Lamborghini LP670 SV in Suncheon! No photos sadly, but I followed a 430 Scuderia and a white 458 Spider along Highway #1 near Ulsan/Gyeongju last Saturday. The sound was unbelievable!
