Just wanted to let everyone know that I have been going through this thread and compiled an alphabetical list of the parts mentioned here and put them into a viewable or downloadable PDF on my site. I plan on doing this for some of the other models that threads have been contributed to here on Ferrari Chat. I'll try combing through them on a regular basis so I can keep these lists as up to date as possible. Hope this helps some of you guys!

Sorry everyone, just realized the PDF was not set to be "executable" from my hosting account. All has been changed and the PDF should open up and be downloadable now. Again, hope this is something helpful for you all.

Help... Looking for a OEM O2 sensor for a 1985 308 QV US car. Anyone knows where I can get one without grabbing my ankles for it?

Plan on picking up some extra 5/8" hose to extend the hose from the radiator pipes to the hose tee to address the below Service Bulletin.

Have you or anyone had any luck tracking down 1-3/8" i.d. fuel hose to replace those two 4" long rubber hoses connecting the crossover tube to the saddle tanks? I don't want to pay $40 each for OEM's if I can help it. Most hose I've found is only rated for "filler neck" not 24-7 submersion in gasoline (so say the mfg.'s).

If memory serves it is the same as a 1989 Saab 16V Turbo. Try that Bosch part number and see what you come up with.

I thought I posted on this before, but can't find it.

My coil wire caps(aka nipples aka terminal nipples) were falling apart.
Found at Car Quest EC TN7 .25 each.
aka CarQuest=Blue Streak = Standard Wires
    They are black.

I was really irritatied to see that Ricambia wanted $11.25 for a single 4.00mm Valve shim. I have since found out that the mid 1970's Fiats used the same valve shim as the 308 2 Valve cars. Fiat owned Ferrari at that point and the 33mm diameter valve shims used in the 308 cars are the same as the 1975 Fiat 128. I ordered all of my Valve shims from either International Auto Parts in Charlottesville, Virginia or Midwest-Bayless Italian Auto in Columbus, Ohio. Both have web sites that are very easy to use. I paid $2.15 per shim at IAP vice $11 at Ricambia.

I searched FC and couldn't find this, so I hope this is new and helpful information:
For the 308 GTS (carb for sure, not sure for injected and QV) the interior map light, or dome light, is the same Hella unit as similar period Mercedes Benz. Paul

Look for Mercedes Benz part number: 0008206301

    MR2 Mike,

Regarding the K&N Air filter 33-2518: I tried this filter on my '87 and I could force it in but, it was not an exact fit (a little to long and narrow). I tried the K&N 33-2662 and found that it is a perfect fit.

one of my tenax pull-snaps was broken from the trunk on the latch covers
    Found them at http://www.eagleday.com/tefage.html.
They are the exact replacements. GHE Made in Germany

Dont forget to buy the little tool to make life easier.
They simply unscrew & are a quick fix.

Thanks Clyde! I ordered 4 for my trunk as two of mine had lost the threaded retaining nut. At $5 each, those are cheap enough to go all new and have them all shiny!

Gas struts can almost always be repaired; 99% of the time they just need re-gassing. Don't throw those OEM Ferrari logo stamped ones away if you can get a repair done. A shop wanting to sell new stuff to you may tell you otherwise but don't believe them.
