Any idea which shop that is in?
Hi Andrew.........I always wondered what happened to 4003 GT ? You may remember I had it for sale from early 1999 till it eventually sold in December 2000. This started as a genuine Favre recreation but was unfinished at the time of his death. The guy in Norfolk ( Chris ?) who use to make the bodies for Favre rescued it in lieu of debt and finished it. The car was sold to Stuart Parker and then came to me. I sold it to West Coast Motorsport in Florida in December 2000 but was offered the car back in about 2005 by some dealers in CA. When I first had the car it was very 'NEW' and shiny but with the owners permission we gave it the distressed look and it then sold. It was a great car to drive and really looked authentic. However my memory is telling me it had a 4 litre engine ?? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Definitely PRIOR to my having the car.........Please note in your photos the horrible front plate and the Crema interior !!! I had the car re trimmed based on 3757GT ...Nick Mason's car and the bodywork heavily distressed with dents, scrapes and let the rear panel go black with exhaust soot...also plent of dead bugs and flies on the nose !
my mistake - thought the years matched? - I took photos I think Silverstone - went there in My Mondial with my pal Rob in his Silver boxer. Bit wet but a oood day out. have photos of 63 gto and 250 gto at the same event if interested buy you prob have loads already !
Clearly s/n 3167 GT Andrew. I saw the car in July 2006 in Belgium. The crackes in the seats are exactly the same. Best regards Kevin
ex Murray Richards car (black in colour) is still in outer area of Melbourne VIC,in a...........poor way. As is a 250pf coupe ,both sitting in an open shed!
I was told this car has a 4 litre engine, not sure if its a 330 America though. Chassis # remains a mystery as of today.
Tom, The car, (4805), I've had for almost 30 years may have fallen off your 'radar screen'. Here are some shots showing its current condition. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Beautiful! Same color combination as mine was originally and soon will be again. Pictures like this keep me energized for the long process of reassembly. Thanks!
Here is 2783. Smashed on the right rear. Good right front sheet-metal was removed long ago. Chassis appears undamaged Missing doors, bonnet, boot, bumpers and a lot of other nice bits, but has its original engine, a transmission and rear axle. I'd like to return it to its previous GTE glory. What beautiful cars to look at and delightful to drive. Image Unavailable, Please Login
If you have the engine and drivetrain, the rest can be obtained, usually from the guys who took the engine & drivetrain from another GTE. If you are in Australia, check out the body mentioned earlier. If not, let me know and I will keep an eye out for good material. Lets get this one back together!
GTE 2965 GT was recently for sale in Madrid and I am told it sold to someone in Germany. Does anybody know the buyer? It has an interesting history and I would like to clear some things up.
Does anybody have info about 4599GT the engine seems to be in 3327GT but this car was certified now where is it ? any news will be great it was my gran pa car !
Last I heard is was for sale in 2004 at Auto Salon Singen in Germany. I believe the engine is in SWB 2129 GT, but at one time was in 3327 GT. 4599GT has had the engine from 4269GT.
Interesting - I owned 4599 from the late 70s to early 80s. Thats when the engine change happened (long story). PM me for more info. I too would love to know its whereabouts. I still have the build sheets and a piece of the interior trim showing the original (non silver) color. Image Unavailable, Please Login
