I too was kinda surprised when they showed up on the waiver wire...... Took a few days to clear, but I'm happy....... Seattle def will no doubt have a monster game now of course..... Cheers, Ian
I am a quitter and want to quit, but tired of being a quiter so I will only quit one last time by now quitting to quit. so I'm still playing although I really suck too!
Nice!..... In for a tight one tonight; I'm ahead by 5, but Picked Off (who is that btw?) has Crosby going at kicker..... Hopefully, Aaron will throw many TD's and no FG's will be needed..... Cheers, Ian
Damn Crosby! - Was watching in a bar and had the entire audience rooting for him to miss one! Good game though - Came up just two points short to fall to 1-2 Oh well, only one undefeated team left and a long way to go yet. Are all three leagues played the same way? I suspect you find yourself rooting against yourself on occasion?..... Cheers, Ian
I am in 2 yahoo leagues and an nfl.com one. Last night I had Nelson, Jennings, Crosby and the Seattle DEF all playing across the different leagues. It is hard to keep track of who is playing in which league. It was a good game, shame how it ended. If a home team gets screwed like that I suspect we may see riots.
I'm getting tired of winning. Can someone please pose a challenge? -Gotham City Rogues 2009 League Champions 2011 Runner-Up
I tie and FALL BACK in the standings. Good game Brainz, did you see the final drive with Victor Cruz? He caught that one pass and missed several others. All you needed was 2 more yards to get a point and win. whew, I got lucky. what's up with the stat corrections on Garcon?
Not sure what that is! Something about a fumble recovery for a TD. These are times we should play fractional points so a winner is decided. Nothing is worse than losing by .1 points and nothing is greater than winning by .1!
I lost a game in another league two weeks ago by .60, nothing new there.. BTST two years ago I won the season-ending championship game on the last play: I had my opponent beat by 1.6 points, his team has the ball with about two minutes left, his running back (which will remain nameless) rips off 20 yards - which gives him 2 points and a .40 lead - AND THEN FUMBLES! 2 points back to me!
I didn't realize we already hit the bye weeks -- but in all fairness, no combination of my players would have beaten my opponent. I almost prefer losing that way over choosing the -wrong- one and leaving too many points on the bench.
I agree with everything Joe Theisman said... I think Dallas has all the parts, they just need a REAL GM and a clean slate of coaches, and just let Dez return kicks. I think Romo is scared to death, which adds to his pressure.
Taken down by the Flat Cranks! Nobody now undefeated. -Flat Cranks 2008 runner up 2009 3rd 2010 League Champions 2011 Sucked! [All this from an ex-pat Brit BTW ] Cheers, Ian
crazy, I thought it over, but I didn't see him having a big game, much less a BIG BIG game like he did. I thought he could get 10 points on a good day, but big risk he would 2-4-3-3 like the previous 4 weeks! I actually wanted to drop him last week but didn't see anyone I liked. figured Fred Jackson had more upside.
