the P1 sure looks very compact next to that 918! mclaren has it's reveal timed for later today, but we've already seen the pictures, so the 'surprise' element is kind of lost ...still, hopefully the reveal gives us some particulars about the car Image Unavailable, Please Login
Apparently Ron has pulled the spec sheet from the promo pack seeing as how their competition is currently just a tub.
Real pictures from autoblog. I find it hideous. http://www.autoblog.com/2012/09/27/mclaren-p1-concept-paris-2012/
Maybe the Tub has him worried..... No other real reason to pull the numbers... I'd have both they have done a great job tho interested to see if a real man could fit looks really small..

Ass looks great. I'm surprised those taillights are legal. Not sure about the front yet. I don't know if its the lighting or the paint, but to me, the whole thing has an overly-glossy, cheap, plastic sort of vibe. Finally, the McLaren logo is...awful. It looks like the Star Trek symbol at a ninety degree angle and/or a melting Pontiac logo. It would look downmarket on a 20k hatchback, let alone a million dollar hypercar. At least it doesn't resemble a uterus (looking at you Tesla).
it's best feature but I dont care for the rest of the car...Ferrari will really have to work hard to make their car uglier. The P 918 is downright boring to me.
Looks are subjective. I find them both hideous (very much in the minority I am for the 458), and they do nothing for me. There's 1 458 in the country here and I didn't get excited when I saw it.
it is ...for those that haven't there is this vid of the app working, watch through to 4:30 in the vid, and you'll see it has a visible airflow 3D which you can change the speed of [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6aZfHhf8oVk&feature=share&list=UU2uFcIXRIE-K6lOPYkNiSog[/ame] https://www.youtube.com/watch?list=UU2uFcIXRIE-K6lOPYkNiSog&feature=player_embedded&v=6aZfHhf8oVk

If it does what they claim, and if every contour was drawn as it needed to be drawn in order to achieve that goal, then I'll eventually fall in love with this odd looking vehicle.
A lot of discussion about the P1 not being "beautiful" or "pretty". Is the MP4-27 "pretty"?? Nobody seems to care. It is efficient and designed to get from point "A" to point "B" in the fastest, most efficient way. The P1 was designed the same way, and in that way is a "beautiful" piece of engineering. Which also happens to look awesome in my view!!
^ the two are different definitions, but there is a certain form in function, though not esthetic beauty, some cars are beautiful to behold, others in that they achieve form with function some more pics released Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
