F40LM Built Model

Years ago, I commissioned a piece (the blue, Pilot-sponsored car s/n 74045) by an automotive artist using the Pocher F40 model (1/8 scale) and upgraded with transkits and other custom-turned parts.

I posted some photos in previous threads.

I am not aware of anyone producing anything pre-built, although you might look for something in 1/18th scale, which seems to be more common. Otherwise, keep your eyes open on ebay. Every once in a blue moon, there's a built-up F40LM. The last one I recall was offered for several thousands of USD, though. Personally, I didn't think the quality of the build or details compared well to what my builder produced, but the price may have reflected that.

I could, possibly, be convinced to part with it. Maybe. You can PM me, and we can discuss, if that's of interest. I'll see if I can't find the link to that thread.

If 1/43 is ok, than you can do no better than the Eidolon / MakeUp version.

 

Worth consideration, well done and a reasonable price.

In 1:43 the make up is the best!

If 1/43 is too small you could also go a little bigger with 1/32, plus you can race it!

have already 3d-scanned an F40 for an1:8 scale model project of the highest quality/price range. a F40 LM could be built too. If interested, could you send a pm?
