Also as the OP mentioned, don't complain about the cost of the car, or cost of maintenance. We already know that, and I'm sure that not one person here is happy about that. I definitely want to hear about the little insignificant quirks that people don't like with these cars. A lot of the little things are fixable if we share ideas.
These cars are simply awesome! BUT still not perfect...(that would be impossible)

    No complaints.

For a nine year old car it is just fine.

I don't like the fact that the gas cap can only be opened with the key in the ignition and power on. It bugs me because I usually forget when I stop for gas! Is this the car's fault or mine ...

Thanks for the info Mike, will try. Regarding the wheels, do you know a good brand of wax?

    1. Engine starting in gear without depressing the clutch . That is just plain stupid. Inexcuseable! That can kill people. 2. Precats coming loose and destroying engines is BS as well. Otherwise a great car, Ive put 40,000 km on my '01 and still love it.

I use this stuff on my wheels, its got PTFE in it which is Teflon and really helps with making them not get as dirty in the first place and then being easy to clean off if they do. Bit pricey but you don't need too much and it lasts fairly well.

I'm reaching here..cuz these are no way showstoppers:

    1. The crappy paper straps in the boot - fixing that now w real leather
    2. The offset of the factory wheels need an extra 20mm - fixing that this spring w hubcentric spacers
    3. Paint scrtached off my key - polished it up and it looks better than new
    4. Brembos would be 2x better if Ferrari used stainless lines - project for the fall
    5. Alarm system is *****y...wouild like to find a way to remove it entirely- bypass the fob nd the LED red light.

If I had to be picky then yes the gas cap needing ignition on to open.
And yes the turn signal clack clack. They dont get left on by mistake though.

    I didn't know that. I guess the two I had weren't real. ;)

I assume that you are referring to the air cooled ones?

I can add one more thing that I would change on the 360's. I would want the sport mode to be seperated into 2 seperate switches for suspension, and transmission shifting quality. It would be nice to have the better shifting of sport mode, with the softer suspension of regular mode so it can handle the bumps on my local roads better. (I started another thread asking if it's possible to seperate these)

    second that!

All i really hate is that the key has to be in the ignition to open the boot. Always carrying something with me and having to leave it on the road in front of the car while I crawl in and have to insert the key and flip the switch when its raining is really annoying.

Am i just being stupid and there's a way around this. Isn't there a manual opening cable or something like there is for the engine compartment?

The alarm system is annoying too. For some reason the car has refused to start for a few minutes if I unlock, lock and unlock the car by mistake. Don't know what that is about.

Yes, there is a manual release for the front boot in addition to the powered switch. The release is under the dash. I think it's on the left side. It's been a while since I've used it, so I forget the exact spot, but it's there.
