I have a 360 pump and my cycle time at start up is 8 flashes. Pretty sure it is not a problem. Perhaps I am wrong?

That spinning sound isn't the radiator fan by chance is it?

Yes. The accumulator was not holding the pressure so the pump would keep trying. The 360 accumulator didn't fit on the 355 F1 so Daniel at Ricambi just ordered the fittings that should make it work...I am hopeful that by early this week this will be resolved. Here's Daniel's contact info if you have questions...REALLY cool guy and REALLY knowledgeable.

8 flashes seems a bit much for a 360 pump. Mine only flashes about 2-3 times only at cold start. At a gas station I have no wait time.

Daniel helped ferrari of vancouver fit the 360 unit on my 355 fiorano. I believe a few brackets and a hose were fabbed up but it was a cheap fix overall

We Ferrari owners are incredibly fortunate to have Daniel and Ricambi. I don't see how it would be possible for a company to provide better customer service. Moreover, one does not have to be concerned with gaff parts (which is a major problem in the industry) when you purchase them from Ricambi.

Thank you Daniel for all that you do.

Ferrari of Central Jersey got the 360 Accumulator to fit on my 355 Fiorano with some fittings but now the pressure is reading way to high...Charlie at F of Central Jersey is going to post here shortly to further explain

Get a stand off fitting to take up the difference. What is so hard about that?

    Nothing.

That's what was supplied. The problem is not about fitting parts together, unfortunately.

The accumulator was fitted with the adpater and that worked great. The issue we are having and the code we are getting is that the hydraulic pressure value is too high. The pressure is reading upwards of 80 psi. We have swapped over other pressure sensors and get the same reading. The pressure with ignition on is 50 psi but when driving goes as high as 80. Might it be the pump? Maybe but also maybe the internals of the power unit because when you adjust the pressure/bleed screw the hydraulic pressure does not change. Anyone else have any possibilites with selling an entire F1 kit?? That he what we are trying to stay away from. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I have the standard 355 pump, OEM, never changed. At a cold start, my light flashes exactly 7 times, always.

If I stop for a few mintues, I get zero flashes when I re-start.

Sometimes the next day I get only 2-3.

I am still confused as to the need to swap the accumulator. Was it leaking?

What is the operating PSI or BAR of the 355 pump? 360 pump? Are they the same? I have no idea.

What does the SD computer show as errors?

The hydraulic function of this system is fairly straight forward. Bleed out the air and make pressure....

The electrical / ECU side is where the "magic" happens.

This is REALLY REALLY REALLY frustrating!!! There HAS to be someone at Ferrari HQ that knows how to fix this without buying an entire F1 unit!

Tough when it does not work. Wish you were closer as I think I could help.

Mine was a mess after the "mechanic" got a hold of it.

I sorted the mess out and it works great now...save for one more hydraulic line change.

But I feel your frustration. Been there done that.

Bradan is in your neck of the woods. He has an SD computer as well. Might be a more local solution.

I'll say it....I think the advice you are currently getting from your service center of choice is not ideal.

    Call Dan at Bradan.

Bradan is an independent maintenance facility. His company specializes in higher end sports cars.

Dan has personally talked me through an F1 issue I had despite me being 1100 miles away. He has seen a lot of 355's.

Bradan is a great group. Dan is a great guy...and better yet they are a sponsor of this site.
