Thanks. Do look forward to meeting others in the area over the coming months. Looks like the Cars & Coffee the first Saturday of the month is a good way to mingle so I will be trying to get there in the future.

Greetings from Indianapolis, Indiana. Finally I was able to realize a childhood dream of owning the best looking Ferrari of all-time - the 348. Purchased it with 9k on the odometer with a major service done by prior owner. Car is a dream. As you can see it came with the luggage set and the original (gasp) window sticker. What a blast from the past!

Drove it home from Missouri - almost 400 miles with no issues. It was a garage queen for number of years as you can see by the mileage but that's about to change as I am going to drive it weekly the way she's meant to be driven. Excellent service history though and the prior owners pampered her with no expense spared. I wish they actually drove the car though.

Had a few gremlins when I got her: INOP oil temp sender, INOP parking brake indicator, passenger door locks issue but all fixed already for a total of like $10 and few hours of tinkering. The bad reputation of this model is largerly underserved - these are simple cars mechanically - just need to be able to read and follow the excellent resources on the net. Compared to the engineering complexity of my BMW daily driver the Ferrari is a cake. Looking forward to the ownership and driving experience and interacting with the owners of this timeless classic.

    New to the site here.

Treated my self to a spider and cannot stop driving it. I am in the uk and
Mine is no 98195 rossa corsa crema hide with 32000 on the clock
Love it to bits. A lad came upto me at the garage the other day and said " how many miles to the gallon that do" i said its not miles its smiles to the gallon. I was unsure if to have the 355 or 348 but love the raw sound and looks of the 348

Great site this and no doubt gonna be here a lot

Hi, I'm new here. Well, not really. But this is my first Ferrari. Originally listed on Fchat here and purchased on eBay there after. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ferraris/434176-348-tb-challenge-14-a.html

In the next few days, I'll write up a post about the car, overall thorough inspection, and over time, will add to it with pictures and progress. The to-do list on this car is growing. The most appealing part about the car, all the little substitution parts for this car and the brotherhood of DIYers.

As noted, the wheels are backwards in the rear. That will get fixed soon. Photo taken on the road during my trip back to Austin from Kansas City, MO.

I have always like the TB's more than the TS's which I have but feel very fortune to have one. Wish we knew each other as more than likely you drove by our place here in NW Arkansas, I just finished an engine out major service on our 348. Also completed window mods so they work like normal windows. I do have to repack the flywheel with Kubar grease.
