Red shows in various locations, but I have not found any records that show a color other than black. The dealer that completed the sale to me told me it was a "red primer" but I don't put much faith in that statement. So, to answer your question: I do not actually know.
There are several small areas of paint or body damage. Again: I attempted to take pictures that show it as clearly as possible (It seems to be reasonably challenging). I'll try to break the information down into multiple posts so the descriptions can fit with the images more easily.
There are some paint cracks in the body paint above the rear window (Images 1 and 2 show the left and right side respectively). There are some areas the paint has separated right near the base of the rear window revealing some red (Images 3 and 4 are zoomed out and in respectively showing the right side) (Images 5 and 6 are zoomed out and in respectively showing the left side). The right side door has a crack and paint markings from touching the front right fender when fully open (Image 1). Image Unavailable, Please Login
On the lower front area surrounding the grill, there is some paint separation and scraping. It is not painted to the same gloss as the rest of the car. The front right has paint separation revealing red (Image 1). The front center has significant scraping that is not fully shown (Image 2). The front left has paint separation reveling black (Image 3). Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

and posted at a realistic price as well, I'm surprised that It hasn't sold yet. I do not know **** about Ferraris, but in my opinion, it appears that it was repainted in a not so professional manner before you took possession of it. Do Ferrari VINs not code the color of delivery? Anyways if it were not going to be my first, I might be interested in your car, but I do not think I could do it justice as a first Italian car. I hope some Owner who knows what to do with this beauty takes it off your hands.
Although I think it is possible for some drip mistakes to have made their way past QC, I'm quite certain this car was repainted (I'm not sure when, though).
i like your car. sometimes i miss my 308 GT4. would you tell me the s/n by pm? i will keep it confidential!
I've been working on a business opportunity for a while. I even thought it would come through a few times recently. It looks like it may be approved in the next week or two. If it is approved, the money from the sale of this Dino could be used as startup funds without requiring outside investment or business loans. As a result, I will probably be more flexible on price for the next several weeks.
