Me likey... Do those come in different widths? Did those have to be custom drilled? I assume you are using spacers...
The sale didnt materialise on my wheels so they are still for sale - details here: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ferrari-parts-collectibles/434099-16-gotti-55cs-308-gt4-mondial.html#post142874020 Boxed and almost ready to ship
Ronal made them up custom, they can make any width you want. They suggested the 8.5 width all around and they made the spacers and lugs to match. I have 235x 17s all around with no interference at all on stock suspension. I like having the same size front to rear, they said I could get a 245 in the rear with no problem. I have 5 perfect original rims with 225 60 14 Yoko AVS intermediates that are now 15 years old and loved the wider tire & low profile. I couldn't bring myself to put the 205 repops back on so I stored them and feel safer on the new rubber. The car handles like a dream with the low profiles and wide rubber. No difference in ride harshness at all. I have stock brakes and wanted to leave them that way, the Ronals are TUV approved and have a meaty 2 step OEM style rim that does not make the brakes look out of place. When I ordered them they had the Ferrari crest but received an injunction and would not ship them. Too bad, they had a 360 type look to them with the center caps. The cost with shipping and tires was within a few $$ of buying the 205 70's so it was a no brainer. The guys at Ronal hit the setup on the nose with no rubbing or lip rolling at all. The spacers are machined with a concentric ring built in. Separate widths for front and rear. I like them a lot and the 17 inch tire choice is huge. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Are you kidding? $1000 for all 4 tires and wheels? What a great deal! And they look awesome! What part numbers, do you remember?
I'm Looking for a set of STOCK Rims for 1986 Non ABS 328.....Mine came with BBS wheels from Dealer when car was new...it never had a original set except for Spare tire......Does anyone want to Trade, plus I'll pay cash.....OR Does anyone know where to get a set.....Then never come up on Ebay.....308 wheels are more available it seems, but they are different Image Unavailable, Please Login
Your wheels (if those pictured?) are not BBS.... they are French made "Gotti "wheels... Very common on 308's,haven't seen a 328 wearing them! Kimbo
Umm....They have BBS stamped on them??? I'll get a close up picture later of the BBS stamp....I know, I clean around the dang thing. ;D Its on the Front wheel at the 2 o'clock spoke, near the smaller black hex heads.
99.9% sure they're not BBS....They are an older model of Gotti wheel...these were all the rage in the late 70's through to late 80's.... Lots of pictures in various threads on this site with 308 GT4/GTB's and GTS's wearing them Still in production today: Gotti Wheels (GBS) Kimbo
