Unless earlier for some reason, I should be there late March when kids are on Spring Break. Brian C. just went through the car last month so it has its clean bill of health.

No regular schedule, just as duty or kids call....see above. Looking forward to the next time we can meet up. Thanks again for sending out a copy of the annual FOG mag.

S/N 0384 AM. The car is incorrect in a few 'minor' ways, but after being stolen it's amazing that's it's as 'original' as it is now. However, lately nothing has stopped cars from selling for HUGE numbers.

The final sentence of Marcel Massini's post was ambiguous to me until I visited the source thread and realized he was writing about a 4.5 liter *engine* with the factory stamp 0384 AM, i.e., the original engine of this auction car. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/135976648-post7.html . At least as of 2006 the auction car had a reproduction engine.

Bonhams says, "The car will be sold with a spare period works block engine and its original body panels, still bearing traces of the 1957 Cuban Grand Prix race colors."

It still does. However, it now has a Classiched block as well, giving Ferrari a further license to print money.

The car has a MUCH 'fuzzier' story than Bonhams would lead you to believe. The body is not as original as they would have you believe either. However, having an unoriginal body didn't stop 0666TR from smashing all auction records at the time of it's sale. I'm very interested to see where the Daytona and PF market heads. To me, right now, those are the horses to bet on (no pun intended) if you want to make a little money down the line while having miles of smiles. The market is VERY frothy right now, it's due for a correction but there is no early 90's style crash coming. However, the people paying 275GTB/4 money for Lusso's (see this past weekend) will likely regret it.
