It will be the same weekend as the 1/43rd Scale Model Expo on Sunday March 23rd also near Chicago. That should help us pick up a few more vendors from out of town. We hope we can see some of you again. We will have a large selection of real vintage Ferrari's and 50 plus tables of literature/art and models for sale. We will also have a hand built model contest along with a Carrera Pan Americana 1950-1954 model and art display at the Expo. Anyone who has been to the show will attest to the millions of dollars worth of rare vintage Ferrari's, Alfa's, Maserati's and other sportscars always on display at this show. Admission is free and the show is open to the public. Show will be held at Continental Autosport Ferrari Maserati in Hinsdale Illinois, 15-20 minutes from O'hare and Midway airports in Chicago USA. Less than a week away. A very special vintage Italian race car might be in attendance if we are lucky. This is a year not to miss if your into such things Thank you to the owners for allowing me to post photos of their wonderful cars. I always try to hide license plates and identification stickers to keep the owners anonymous if possible.
I'm planning on going but parking there is always a challenge. Is there another place to park? I can't imagine a large crowd with that small area in front. Also is anyone driving their Ferrari there? Mine is in for service but may be done in time and if so I was considering driving it there but again the parking is my largest concern.
I stopped in yesterday around noon. The shop looked very clean. The indoor showroom was totally full of cars wall to wall. They told me they will be doing a lot of work today to get ready for Saturday. Talked to a guy in the service area, it is depressing to hear you can not get a manual shift Ferrari anymore. Well the Alfa T33/3 made it!!! This car came in second place at the 1971 Targa Florio. An identicle car won the race beating the mighty Porsche team ...The car now has it's Sebring nose..... See you at the Expo. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Swung by with my son for a bit - sorry I didn't get to see you Andreas! I'm not really on FChat much any more. Too busy with family!
Love the Lussos and the Tipo 33. The 166MM and 330 GTS were nice too! Here are my pics. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10153920605225284.1073741838.501530283&type=1&l=e14578b228
